The rooms were very comfortable, and most staff provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the room service dinner was overpriced and disappointing.

The staff was fine based on checking in and out conversations. The room worn and tired. Our room was accessibly designed which we didn’t need or know about, so it didn’t fit our needs as well as expected We arrived on Christmas Day and they were pretty much the only place open for dinner. 190 per person for a lackluster buffet and a forced champagne (20 of the 190). Two of don’t drink so we got juice. I get extra cost for working a holiday but 4x the price of the better restaurants in town ( at Fusion the next day, which was excellent , 180 for people with drinks. I cannot express my disappointment. I truly feel like I was taken advantage of. Our previous Novotel stay in Wellington was great.
