As an older person with some disability travelling alone I was made to feel very welcome and given every assistance when I required it by always friendly staff during my 4days stay at this lovely hotel.

The hotel is in the heart of the iconic Cathedral Square, in close vicinity to everything - the Riverside Market, the City Mall, New Regent Street and right next door to the excellent Library and the beautiful Isaac Theatre Royale. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. On the minus side, the property itself could really benefit from a major refurbishment. It looks and feels tired and dated and the maintenance of the rooms seems sub-par: I found the shower head in room 1302, “The Penthouse” to be leaking, and the shower head in room 1308 does not stay upright, keeps flopping downwards.
