I arrived and my first impression of the hotel was the chap on my check in desk leaving the desk literally as I dragged my bags there, nodding his head to indicate “go to the next desk” as if I were a dog, then the girl on my check out desk took 5 min to find my reservation. Hello staff: first impressions! They count, and anyone in customer service who doesn’t understand this should get a different job,

Need a Customer Service Overhaul! Never Again! Your staff made by checkin a nightmare and disregarded by loyalty status. I have cancelled future bookings at Accor and migrated to Marriott for last 2 days stay. Horrible rude staff!

The hotel is a ten-minute walk to the main train station in Zurich. Nonetheless, the room is small and it was hardly cleaned during our stay. Breakfast was average and some items below the usual Ibis standard.

The room itself is fairly comfortable and clean. The location is alright. The reason I was not happy with my stay was the staff members at the front desk.
