A room with a side view of the port and the Canebiere which is lively especially at Christmas time. Upgraded room and much appreciated. Nice hotel lounge bar with insane views of port!

Overall it was a good experience while staying at the hotel with nearly all the staff being very pleasant and helpful. My only reservation on the trip was the size of the room which I found to be on the small side and lacked any real charm.

Stayed here for one night just before Christmas in 2025. The location of this hotel is superb, right in the middle of everything. A lot of history as well, with this being the oldest hotel in Marseilles. The metro stop is literally at the doorstep of the hotel, which is only 2 stops from Central (St. Charles), so it's a quick 5 minute train ride. Really convenient. Our rooms were duplex suites, two levels with excellent views of the Port. They had heaps of room in them, plus a nice little outdoor balcony. The bar on level 1 is lovely, again excellent views of the port. In the morning the same area is used for breakfast, which is a 10 out of 10 for choice and quality. There are any number of places to eat within 5 minutes of the hotel, even a Burger King on the ground floor if that's your thing. Even though it was a quick stay, we really enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would happily stay again.
