good location but very hard to access with building works going on

I would never stay here again, because of the Urban Experience Fee. You pay $700 a night for the room; $70 a day to park; spend hundreds in the bar and then the hotel chisels you for $30 and calls it an "urban experience fee". I like the hotel, I like the location, I like the staff but I will not be ripped off and that is what the Urban Experience fee is. I come to LA a lot on business and am trying to find the one hotel that can be my home away from home. Thanks to the Urban Experience fee the Fairmont will not be it

Guest rooms seemed geared to short visit single business traveler. Very little clothing storage with mini bar taking up 4 of 6 drawers. Bathrooms have only 1 useful towel hook.
