Everyone we come in contact with is so nice and helpful ...you've done a great job managing through the pandemic. I am so happy things are opening back up (restaurant, bar, room service) - it just enhances an overall great stay.

I use to love staying at the Sofitel. Felt appreciated for my loyalty, best bed on the West coast, warm and friendly staff … didn’t feel any of that this stay. Check in was a ‘cold’ experience. They didn’t have my Accor info and said it was my error during booking but has never happened before and I book the same way every time. They didn’t want to add it while I was there. No welcome gift, no acknowledgement of my status and felt rushed to get me out of there. My bed felt old and uncomfortable, which use to be the highlight of my stays. The towels were rough and hard. My room look like it needed some TLC. No Room Service (understand changes because of Covid) but when they got rid of it they added a cute coffee/pastry place downstairs for a quick bit but that is now gone. Only option is to dine in their restaurant so no quick grab and go. I use to look so forward to my stays here and now it’s just another hotel, with a high price tag.

This hotel would be better off trying to be a real business hotel. Instead it feels like a big chain trying to be Ian Schrager. It has a sad, purple velvet, ironic imitation pop-art, "night club" in the lobby you have to walk through to get to a shockingly expensive restaurant with food that would be fine at 1/3 the cost. $50 for breakfast that is $20 at a Manhattan diner. (Why can't corporate-run restaurants find fresh fruit when they are in the same place where it is grown.) "Dinner" is really just airport level bar snacks. 2 years into COVID and peak Omicron, desk staff still were wearing masks under their nose broadcasting how much they care about their customers. Gym is pretty good for a hotel gym. The room was well appointed. Bed is not as good as comparably priced hotels but comfortably business class. Street side room was a bit loud.

Mask mandate still not being followed. Many guests and individuals coming into the bar did not have masks on and no one, including management (who also did not have a mask on), did anything about it. Rooms are bare minimum. No top sheets provided on bed. Front desk staff, during this stay, were not as cordial or welcoming. Can hear the music from the bar well into the night, especially if have a room over this area.

We are not familiar with the Cedars Sanai area and Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is just two-tenths of a mile away. With the virus restrictions in place at the hospital, it only makes sense to be as close as possible, especially if an operation is involved. We were quickly and enthusiastically greeted and registered. The room had a relaxing view of the hills. The only downside was there was a problem in getting heat in the room but this was just a minor problem. We were surprised to see someone from engineering arrive immediately to take care of the problem. The dinner was well worth it.

The hotel is very comfortable. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the hills. Housekeeping was so good at keeping our room nice while practically staying invisible! The mask mandates were followed by every one and vaccination proof was required at the restaurant. Location is perfect, with the Beverly Center right across the street and the Medical Center a block away. Also there are many good and interesting restaurants in the neighborhood. We send a big thank you to all the employees; everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and well cared for. We send a special thank you to the hostess at the restaurant who always made our day start off with a little sunshine!

At the beginning of the pandemic we decided to offer self parking complimentary for our Expedia Elite member. In October 27th 2021 we removed that option as our Valet team is now fully operational. After looking into your reservation I can see that you booked your stay with us before this option got removed but is was unfortunately not available when you stayed with us. However we believe that we should honor this offer, our front desk team just refunded the parking cost to the credit card that was used at check out. We had a good experience at the hotel, check-in was easy room was nice I was disappointed when i got in to the room and the mini bar had an open bottle of tequila - half-empty ( i did mention it to the front desk) It makes me rethink the overall cleanness of the room and hotel - especially during the unprecedented time we are in
