Front lobby valets and luggage personnel were excellent but the front desk was disappointing as they did not really try to get us the double bed room we wanted. Did not feel they tried but took the easy route and simply said nothing was available. I was disappointed they did not attempt to address my concern.

The staff was incredible, the room perfect and the view beautiful. My granddaughter was very ill at Cedars Sinai hospital and the staff bent over backwards with kindness. When as children do she became well almost instantly, I rather quickly checked out to big smiles. I am so thankful for for all who helped to ease this difficult time. Many thanks.

My husband was at the hospital and I came back to my room, but it wasn't made so a sweet woman, Maureen, a room attendant came in and cleaned the room. Modern decor with some lovely common areas like the pool and patio areas. Beds super comfortable. Haris on reception was very accommodating and helpful, great service. Our only grip was the room service food we ordered after arriving late at the hotel. We had a bowl of chopped plain lettuce with 5 bland prawns, and a baby beetroot salad that hardly contained any beetroot, mostly tasteless greens. When we mentioned this on checkout we were offered $25 off the bill which was a nice gesture. Would stay again but the initial bad food put us off eating at the restaurant.

Room was comfortable and clean. Loved the bed. But the bathroom reeked of cigarettes. Someone clearly smoked in there. And the room was doused in cleaner to try to cover the smell, unsuccessfully.

The staff were excellent. My room was OK. The air conditioning did not seem to be working well as the room was hot. Also, the shower was very weird and hard to get in and out of. The shower head would only spray out of the shower so I had to aim it at the wall to prevent it from soaking the bathroom floor.

I enjoyed my stay and the quality of rooms is good however we requested early check in and although I appreciate the hotel was full the night before, we were told that we would be called when a room was available, this did not happen and I ended up having to call to follow up and only then, at standard check in time were we able to come back to check in. Platinum member amenity was not issued and check in process was quite slow. I did appreciate the use of the spa to freshen up after a long flight though. It is a pity that twin bed room configuration is more expensive in general when booking and does not allow for an upgrade when you are a Platinum status member (unless one of you wants to sleep on a fold out sofa in a suite). Generally a satisfactory stay.

The hotel staff, room, and location were great. Hotel food prices were very high, and the neighborhood homeless were problems. I was very irritated with the smoking policy -- not even on the balcony? Really?

Mosquitos in room, did not eliminate, changed room 2nd day, spilled liquid on bed prior to my arrival, used coffee in my coffeemaker, 2 men accessed my room after a short knock before I could answer door said to fix safe..wth?? no shampoo in shower, part of room door fell off where you tap key to enter

Since this email was sent to me again, I figure to write a review; since my experience at this hotel coupled with the cost was not worth it. I live in Santa Barbara and I do fairly decent in life, not wealthy but able to travel a lot and experience many different hotel rooms. So; in Beverly Hills (I know there is a hype) but to charge $60 for a double bed (first time ever), bathroom was surely not kept up, plastics all over (killing our oceans), the room was “weak” I mean lol the way (minus the bedding -that we all enjoyed...nice a fluffy and comfy). There are things that can be done, to make this place a better option. But it will need work. It just has a rundown, too pricy vibe. Best of luck.

We do apologize for our sustainability program not meeting your expectations, and we would like to r-ensure you that sustainability is our top priority. Bins in our rooms are with 2 compartments and these compartments are what we use to recycle. We are currently Planet 21 Gold (the official sustainability program by Accor) and we are Green Seal Certified since last year, being the 7th hotel in the city of Los Angeles to receive this certification! We compost all our food waste and we have a cardboard baler that minimizes our paper waste as well. Our building is fully equipped with LED bulbs and we had 9,375 HCF of annual water savings and 868,793 KWh of annual energy savings for 2018. As far as the plastic is concerned, we are currently working with some providers to install soap and shampoo dispensers in our rooms to avoid the mini-amenities daily consumption. I would nonetheless greatly appreciate it if you would be willing to provide further information about what happened during your check-out as well as with our staff as this will help me better understand what happened in order to anticipate any future occurrences. I became sick and had the desk call a doctor, she came within two hours and basically helped me thru the next two days, the housekeeping, and room service team was gracious and brining me water and making sure I was ok kind of like having another family, thank you all I am in NY now feeling better

When I arrived Benjamin checked me in. He was charming and very accommodating. The hotel is clean and modern and fun and fancy and youngish. The location is pretty close to everything -a huge mall right across the street- cvs - cross two streets. I walked to “the grove/farmers market about a mile and a half and Melrose ave great restaurants also close (I ubered because I was alone and it was dark but it’s probably a half hour walk) and I did walk, a little further, to Rodeo Dr. but..... the surprise was the hotel bar/night club. Check the calendar for the entertainment, it’s worth it. And a thank you to Matthew the bartender for being so gracious with my God-daughter and I. When I arrived I was greeted by Benjamin and when I checked out he accompanied be to the car. Thank you. I will definitely be back.
