We could not fault our stay here. We arrived from Australia after a 14 hour flight and were very appreciative that our room was ready and we could checkin at 10am. With platinum ALL status we were also upgraded. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Great pool area greatly appreciated in 37 celcius heat. Beverly centre across the road.

While the lobby was very nice, I don’t feel that the room itself was particularly nice. There was hair in the shower, but the rest of the room was clean. We were told upon arrival that there was a deep clean of the room, because of my son’s pet dander allergy, which I found incredibly thoughtful and certainly appreciated. We found it odd that there were no top sheets on our bed. This made for an uncomfortable night for my husband who doesn’t use a thick comforter. It felt unsanitary to use a comforter that didn’t have a sheet between it but my hope is that the duvet cover is changed with each guest. The sliding door to the bathroom has a gap so you can see into the shower. There is only a partial shower door which made showers feel cold. There weren’t robes or slippers as listed on the website. We only drank cokes from the mini bar, but it wasn’t restocked during our stay.
The front desk employees were very nice and helpful and the valet guys were polite and professional. While we didn’t eat at the restaurant, it was beautiful. The concierge said the restaurant wouldn’t be able to accommodate my food allergy (dairy) but offered up suggestions of restaurants that could. We also appreciated the water bottles and refill station, which was very convenient.

The front desk staff was always so friendly and welcoming. They made sure all of our needs were met. Carolyn and Emily especially. The hotel was very convenient to walking back and forth to Cedars, where my husband was having surgery. They were very flexible and accommodating with our reservations, as we did not know how long he would be in the hospital. The lobby was lovely, fun and whimsical, the rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant was convenient and the breakfast we had there was healthy and delicious. The hostess was charming.
There was a little noise from neighboring rooms, but normal. The back side of the hotel is on a quiet street, while the front faces a busier street and the Beverly Center.

Loved the location, so central and close to everything. My pet was treated like royalty, with treats, toys, and a bed provided. Important to mention: no pet fee at all, and the bed, treats, and toys were complimentary. The interior design is just breathtaking. The staff was super friendly. The location was perfect. Easy to get to all the touristy spots. The Beverly centre is bang opposite and was a great place to shop. the hotel staff was helpful and polite. The concierge team helped us book Universal Studio tickets and were able to give good travel advice. Overall great experience

I arrived close to 10pm and checkout was at 11am so I could scarcely enjoy the hotel. I had trouble with the TV remote and gave up.
I was given a 30 minute grace period and then a 15 minute grace period because I was unable to be out of the room so early.
I took a rushed shower and found the tiny seat in the corner of the shower insufficient for my needs. Wish there had been grab bars in the shower, too.
Loved the 2 chocolate treats and the gummy bears.

I have stayed at many hotels in Los Angeles. This hotel did not even have a refrigerator. The only luxurious thing about this hotel was balmain products. The shower was terrible, but because the tub emptied really slowly. Seems like you have a plumbing issue there.

Was ok, my third time staying with the hotel. Starting to feel a bit run down this time. The toilet in my room broke on the first night, the curtains were very hard to operate. When I called for assistance the phone was crackly and barely worked. Staff while pleasant seemed only interested in practical service and not providing any warmth to the situation. I was upgraded due to my status but no amenity provided as usual for this hotel but that is a bent reflection on the Accor program in general. Disappointed this hotel now charges the stupid resort fee especially as I was only there to sleep! Might start considering alternative hotels next time which is a shame as I enjoy the area.

Staff are amazing and helpful. Best experience in Los Angeles! The Bellman services was prompt and responsible while the reception is attentive. We will definitely choose Sofitel Los Angeles next time we visit.

The location, décor, room and staff were all fantastic and we really couldn’t fault them. The only thing that let our stay down was that there was nowhere open in the hotel to get a bite to eat or a drink. Room service was available, but we would have preferred the option to have lunch or a drink at the bar or in the dining area. It would have made the stay even more enjoyable.

I had some issues with the cleanliness of the room. It seems that there were some (explicit) personal belongings left in the room. Honestly, I am not sure a cleaning team would have really found them, but it was pretty gross. Also, had some issues with the toilet clogging... With that said - the staff was awesome. They really helped me on my business trip, steamer - deliveries, packages being brought back and forth, and the engineering team helped me right away. The staff was fantastic!

We booked to attend World Dog Day at Hollywood park so the walking location was phenomenal for us and our doodle! Very dog friendly restaurant and the staff was seemed genuinely helpful! The staff even had doggy bed and bowls put in our room! We loved it and will def be back!
