The hotel was comfortable and well-maintained. The food was delicious! I was treated well; however, my husband was not. I often noticed that several hotel staff members ignored him or gave him judgmental looks. Given how high-caliber this establishment is, I would expect the people who work for and represent the Fairmont brand to be kinder to their guests. I understand that my husband has some tattoos and gauges in his ears, but he is a sweet, generous, and friendly man. People's treatment of him was less than acceptable, and I would hope these negative attitudes and snap judgments do not recur for future guests' sake. I say this with kindness; please remind your staff that people have feelings and everyone deserves to be treated equally. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont Miramar. Service was excellent. In particular, I would like to recognize Ethan Perez at the front desk. He both checked us in and checked us out. He was knowledgeable, the epitome of professional,and compassionate. We were very tired when we arrived, having had to get up very early (3:00am) in the morning for our flight, and having toured college campuses in LA all day, and Ethan was exceptional. He helped us figure out our dinner plans immediately.

The room itself wasn't special, but the view was amazing. The air conditioning really struggled to keep up but there was a heat wave and the staff brought us a fan immediately, so that was appreciated. The attentiveness from staff was great. The fig restaurant was consistently delicious.
The ebikes were fun until you had to pedal uphill and it became fully manual.
Overall the stay was good. I don't think we stayed at the hotel long enough to appreciate the amenities. We spent a lot of time away from the hotel.

We booked as a fun getaway. The room was decent but no minibar whatsoever, the phone was broken, the TV glitched and hardly worked and for at least 10 hours a day all we could hear were kids screaming at the top of their lungs from the pool. We have two kids - we adore kids. This was above and beyond anything tolerable. We could not leave fast enough.

4 women with a combined total of 18 children needed some time away. Several of us turned 50 this year so we decided to go big with a stay at a luxury hotel.
