Comfortable Hotel located near Airport

I needed a last minute overnight stay near Hobart airport. I had driven to the airport to collect my son coming in on the evening flight from Sydney. His flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the following morning. I needed a comfortable and clean hotel near the airport with parking and no fuss. Mantra hotel provided all that and more! Excellent check-in service, good food, cheerful and helpful staff, superbly comfortable room and bed. I had a very relaxing, stress free night.

We appreciated the upgrade to a large room. We noted that the hotel is under renovation so did not want to be critical but the shower could not be adjusted, and several lights not working (reported next morning and acknowledged by manager). Great location for early airport departure. Disappointed to learn after stay that we were not entitled to status points or night stay even though we booked and paid member rate via app (less some points ).
