I booked a King Bed Executive Room with a Spa, the allocated room could not be described as Executive standard being on Level 1 right next to Emergency Exit doors, having no view and despite my best attempts to find it, I am more than certain there was no Spa. I emailed the chain and also the hotel directly, with no remedy offered. Extremely disappointed, especially as I have stayed here previously and was very happy with our room. Wont be staying again !

Is not near the airport, have to take uber approximately (4mins) driving. Walking about 20mins. Requested for late check-out was not given as staff said room are selling at A$20 per hour, did not recognised my gold membership in this case.

The hot shower, room airconditioning/heater, comfy bed and the staff at the reception and breakfast made our stay very pleasant. If free airport shuttle could be offered (because we had a very bad encounter with Uber), we would give it a higher score.

This is a great hotel if you have an early morning departure or late evening arrival also free parking is available the breakfasts and dinners are great and staff more than helpful. But the Senior Management of this hotel need to realise this is an AIRPORT HOTEL restaurant needs to be open 7 days a week and Breakfasts to start at least 6am on this visit dinner not available Sunday or Monday night breakfast had to be wrapped up in take away container as we could not wait . Also shuttle needs to be operating for longer. Other wise a great hotel

I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling check-in experience my party and I endured at Mantra Hobart Airport on Sep15. The complete lack of operational management, inaccurate information, and unreachable staff left us stranded in 5°C freezing conditions for over an hour, resulting in illness and a severe breakdown of customer trust. I am bringing the following critical failures to your immediate attention: Zero Prior Notice: No late check-in procedures or instructions were communicated to us prior to our arrival. Incorrect Emergency Contacts: The phone number displayed on the main entrance notice was entirely non-functional. We attempted to call it over ten times—including through Trip.com—with zero response. Only after Trip.com intervened were we given an entirely different, unlisted phone number. Displaying an unmonitored or incorrect number on a front door late at night is unacceptable. Misleading and Unhelpful Staff Guidance: When we finally reached your reception team, we were subjected to a series of completely false instructions: Staff directed us to use a "toll-free phone near the entrance," but when pushed, the receptionist could not even locate or describe where it was. My friend had to resort to walking to a nearby service station just to find a usable phone. Staff instructed us to use the exterior intercom, which was also completely out of service. Staff told us to wait in a non-existent shelter instead of prioritizing an immediate unlock and check-in process. Disregard for Guest Health & Safety: Keeping guests stranded outside exposed to biting winds in 5°C weather for over an hour is a serious duty-of-care failure. Both my companion and I developed running noses and cold symptoms as a direct result. Systemic Mismanagement: We were not an isolated case. Another group of guests from Singapore was stranded alongside us experiencing the exact same issue. Rather than handling their booking professionally, your receptionist forced me to hand my personal phone over to them to process their check-in sequentially. The degree of incompetence we experienced falls shockingly below any acceptable hospitality standard. Given the physical distress, wasted time, and total failure of basic service, I request the following resolutions: 1. A full refund for our stay at Mantra Hobart Airport. 2. Compensation for medical expenses incurred due to prolonged exposure to the freezing cold weather. I expect a prompt response addressing these operational breakdowns and confirming the processing of my refund within 48 hours.
