The hotel is brand new, pristine and very elegant, with an architectural structure that resembles a caravanserai. It is in a great location, close to two malls and their supermarkets (which saved us during Ramadan...). Note that Muscat is a very spread out city, so there is no single hotel that is close to all attractions. The hotel has excellent facilities, including a very good gym, a jacuzzi and an infinity pool on the roof. The rooms are large and well sound-insulated. The staff at the reception is first-rate, going out of their way to attend to our needs. We have been traveling through the Arabian Peninsula for several weeks, and Mercure Muscat is among the best hotels we stayed on. I highly recommend it.

We had the most pleasant experience during our stay at Mercury Muscat! We left early in the morning on March 7 and forgot our bag on the steps near the entrance. We remembered it almost after leaving Muscat. We easily reached the manager, who helped us by sending the bag with a taxi, and we were able to retrieve it. Unfortunately, we don’t have the manager’s name, but we are extremely grateful to all the staff! A huge thank you for your trust, kindness, and responsiveness! We would especially like to thank the manager who was in contact with us on March 7 at 6 AM! You saved us) thank you very much!!! The hotel is beautiful! Everything is clean! The pool is nice and heated!
