My first time staying at a Movenpick, and I really loved it. The hotel felt fresh and new, with one of the best breakfast buffets I've had, along with a great rooftop pool and good sized room. Highly recommended.

Everything about the place is great except the dinner food. You can't after a booking rate with dinner, and when I actually show up for dinner you offer be a paper menu with just three items in it. That part was rather difficult.

I had an overnight layover in Muscat and decided to stay at the Moevenpick Hotel after reading the reviews. It definitely didn't disappoint! Some of the highlights were: - easy, fast check-in at a good rate - complimentary room upgrade and dinner, which was a lovely touch - quiet room with super comfy bedding - yummy breakfast with lots of choice (best eggs benedict I have ever had) - convenient underground parking - plenty of free water (not always a given even in top hotels) One little suggestion: - the curtains didn't close fully and let in lots of light so I woke up very early when I really could have done with a longer sleep

The reception staff were very friendly and professional. We had a very pleasant and peaceful stay. The hotel offers all the amenities you need. The pool area is also very inviting and perfect for relaxing. It’s conveniently located not far from both the airport and the city center. Highly recommended.
