We recently stayed at Marival Armony Resort for seven nights as a family of four. Overall, our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The food was some of the best we have experienced at any resort. While the quality of the food was excellent, the variety and dining options were extremely limited, which was disappointing for a week-long stay. La Brise and Essence were essentially the only reliable restaurant options. Blend is primarily a bar that only offers pizza, and Drops is another bar with good food, but its menu is also quite limited. Essence offered very few breakfast choices and served only Italian cuisine in the evenings. La Brise, the buffet restaurant, provided a wider variety of food, but eating there repeatedly became repetitive after several days. Service at La Brise was inconsistent, and there were times we waited an unusually long time for drinks. The quality of service varied greatly across the resort. Parrot Fish and Divum were not open daily and accepted only a limited number of reservations. To secure a reservation, I had to stand in line approximately 40 minutes before reservations opened, and I was only successful once during our stay. Many guests in line were frustrated after spending nearly an hour waiting, only to be unable to get a reservation or to receive an undesirable dining time. On one evening, both La Brise and Essence were serving only Italian cuisine, leaving us with essentially one dining option for dinner. Al Fresco was closed for our entire stay. Divum is only a 18+ restaurant which limited our options even more. Room service also includes a 10% service charge, which felt frustrating given the limited dining availability across the resort. Another challenge was the lack of pool loungers. By 9:00 a.m., nearly every lounger had already been claimed, making it difficult to find seating later in the morning. Entertainment was minimal to virtually nonexistent. However, the Kids Club offered a variety of activities, and Brenda was absolutely fantastic. She was engaging, attentive, and made the experience especially enjoyable for our children. One final recommendation: bring your own reusable cup for beverages. During our stay, I observed bartenders quickly washing and reusing cups, and the cleaning process was not sufficient. While the resort's beautiful property, relaxing atmosphere, and excellent food quality were highlights, the limited restaurant availability, reservation challenges, lack of entertainment, and insufficient pool seating prevented the overall experience from meeting our expectations.
