They would not allow you to sit on the beach where you wanted and would routinely put us in the middle where the kids were playing. Restaurants were hard to get a reservation for and yet when you went, they were only 50% full. The blend restaurant was as excellent as ever. Staff was fantastic at blend and by the pool. Had to move to a different room, which they did upgrade, which was excellent, but the reason was work being done just outside of our door. They were installing a handrail on a stairwell, which meant there was a grinder going just outside our door all day. Very disappointing

Overall a good stay. Pools were salt-water (loved this) and there were several that were adult only (great options). Restaurants were good -- none was spectacular but all were decent. Making a reservation (even for 1) was a bit challenging but if you asked the concierge enough times, they would "open" a reservation for you. Room was new, spacious and had plenty of efficient storage. A/C defaulted to 22 degrees Celsius -- with no option to get it any lower -- and often ended up a 23 degrees during the night. So, being in menopause, I was unable to sleep. It was just too hot and humid in the room. When I asked about adjusting the temperature, the response was always -- it's not possible.

We had a very relaxing stay. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was comfortable. Our room was clean and kept very nice by housekeeping. Our eoom was made up each day and on the evening we were out of our room housekeeping turned down our bed and left hershey kusaes on our pillows. Such a nice touch. Please let our housekeepers know how much this was appreciated. The grounds are always kept immaculate. We always asked for Lizzy to take care of us in la bris as she was so sweet and attentive. She is a great person for you to have working for you. Allthe staff were wonderful. We just had a super time. Thank all of you for everything!!!!!!

We booked an adults only vacation and there were kids everywhere. I understand the resort changed its policy, but a simple phone call could have saved a disappointed customer experience. The staff was fantastic. The food was incredible.
