We had a lovely family vacation at Marival Emotions Resort. Food and drinks were very good. Pools were clean and the grounds spotless. Staff were very kind. Would definitely go back!

We had a great time here. Pools were amazing, room was great and clean, and the shows and entertainment were great. Food options and reservation process were not a standout.

Nice resort but too many children for us.Appreciate having adult pool. Food in buffet really needs quality control. Dinner buffet especially not always appetizing.

Beautiful week, friendly helpful staff. Alexandra on beach service deserves a raise! She’s amazing, fluent in English, always positive and smiling. À la carte reservation process is not efficient, fair nor appreciated. Time share and offers to upgrade to club on check in felt like an attack and was not appreciated after travel all day! Resort is mostly clean but edges and corners in stairs are not. Cup cleaning in bar is questionable… Housekeeping and fridge service in room was good but not consistent. No coffee pods daily was ridiculous! Even after tipping and asking with used pod in hand! Food was great most of the time; Pergola for breakfast and dinner was lovely. I wish all restaurants have seating areas for Adults versus families With noisy and disrespectful children. My heart went out to the cleaning ladies who were constantly cleaning food up off the floor that children threw there; just not acceptable. The daily yoga on the beach was truly appreciated as well. The use of bikes was Great, but it would be nice to have the option to Borrow a lock so you could ride them somewhere and secure them while shopping.Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would consider coming back.

The things that made Marival special for owners are slowly being taken away. No more evening dinners at the Mai Tai. No more Mediterranean dinners at LA Paloma, no more Brazilian dinners at LA Bamba, no more catch of the day lunch on the beach. Beach being occupied by the public. Local vendors constantly walking through the private beach area. Purple flag out 13 days in a row, and only in front of Marival. No other spot on the entire area had that restriction. The red flag restrictios were unwarranted for much longer than we're necessary as well. Clear incompetence at the beach. You may as well close the beach equipment shack down. No reason to pay workers to do nothing for 2 weeks in a row. And the purple flag was out 10 days in row, the weeks prior. Clearly incompetence! Owners are not given best available rooms or upgrades as we're in contract. More availability is given to Apple vacations, Expedia, etc. All inclusive fees keep going up, while quality keeps going down. Tell me how this is not a breach of contract.contract. If I pay my next year's annual fee, pay my all inclusive 5-6 months in advance, how can I not get an ocean front room? Yet someone who books months after me gets an oceanfront room every time. Who are you catering to? CLEARLY, it is NOT the owners, who have updated over many years, providing you with the funding to build something special for us, only to see more and more dreams shattered every year we come back. And then you want us to update again? For what? Less and less? You put $200+ USD mirrors in bathrooms, instead of replacing shower heads that spray water over the side of the shower, faucets that don't shut off, and toilets that flush terribly. I would like a response on these concerns. Believe me when I tell you, that there are many many more owners than just me who feel the same way, because I have this same conversation everyday I'm down there with someone new. It's time to start giving back a little, charging less a little, and showing more gratitude to those who have given you so much.
