As soon as we got there the service was lacking, took a very long time to register us, and once we received bracelets, there wasnt an employee available to give us information on resort. We were fuided to a QR code to get info.The hotel location was great, beautiful and easy access to beach. The kids amenities like the slides, golf was great. The hotel lacks variety for breakfast, only breakfast option was buffet not unless you were a member, there was another option.Also for lunch only spot was the restaurant next to pool but cant go in wet and buffet. They have two other options but have to be a member. The room was good, spacious we stayed in a suite since we were a family of 6. We did have an issue with ac leaking water but they took care of it. The room was cleaned, but we didnt get restocked coffee. The staff was friendly, but dont except to get pool side service. You have to get your own drinks and get out of pool area to get food or snacks. Entertainment was good.

Nice hotel. But following can be improved: 1. Food was only mexican with very limited veg options. 2. Hard to get reservations in restaurants. During our stay we could get only reservation in silk restaurant. 3. Toilets and bathroom didn’t had lock. Our kids were entering in bathrooms all the time 4. Housekeeping was only making our beds. Floors were dirty with sand and humidity. Did not replace or wash coffee cups. Did not placed coffee pods. We called operator each time for coffee pods.

Overall, not a good experience. My reservation was wrong and we had to change rooms after the first night. The air was broken in all three rooms of the three-bedroom, and it took days to get it fixed. There was poop in the pool on two separate occasions. Service people were working, but there were not enough and the service was not good overall. The restaurants were hit and miss with Italian being particularly bad. I’ve been going for years, but cannot recommend Emotions anymore.
