It was a nice hotel, but we had a mildew smell in our room that we couldn’t get rid of, we’ve stayed in multiple hotels in this area so we understand that humidity is an issue but we had never experienced a mildew smell. I mentioned it to a housekeeper, and she only said it was due to the humidity. The servers were nice. Entertainment was great Luis and Leslie were very personable and friendly. The young lady at Starbucks (which we were excited about) was not at all friendly. It is a beautiful resort and we appreciated how family-oriented it is.

My wife and I took our daughter, son-in-law and 5 yr old granddaughter. A good time was had by all. The resort is very kid friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. The pools were warm and inviting. The evening entertainment was very good.

Overall the stay was fine. Some positives: - Beds were comfortable. - Staff were friendly. - Beach access was nice/easy. - Facilities were generally pretty clean. A few areas of improvement: - There was no adult-only pool area, or if there was people didn't adhere to it and it was not enforced. - Drinks were very watered down or extra sugary, making them not very tasty unless you ordered on the rocks/neat. - Food was incredibly salty. I felt like they added sodium to everything they could, which made most of the food not very good. - Water pressure was not great and the water did not get as hot as it should have in the guest bathroom(s).

We had amazing stay in Marival Emotions Resort & Suites Riviera Nayarit by Mercure. The service was excellent. Martin always attentive and exceeded customer service. Eazikel is good manager. Charlie was very helpful. The staff were friendly and attentive and there was always something to enjoy. The entertainment was nice, the food was delicious with plenty of variety and the yoga sessions on the beach were a perfect way to relax and recharge. Overall, a wonderful experience-we can't wait to return.
