When we arrived, our room was not ready at 3:00 p.m. as expected. While waiting, we changed and went to the pool. When we wanted to eat, we were sent from one palapa to another and then told we could not eat there because we were wearing swimsuits. We had to eat at the pool chairs. We were not given this information beforehand, and later we saw other guests in swimsuits eating in the same area. There was also a safety issue in the small semi-private pool. I cut my finger on something sharp in the pool and was bleeding. I reported it to 3 different employees including the front desk, but they only gave me a Band-Aid and did nothing to inspect or address the hazard. The drinks were very low quality. The shrimp were not properly cleaned, and two still had the digestive tract inside. Finally, the front desk staff, especially Carlos, were not courteous or helpful. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. It is not an experience I would want to repeat, and I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
