We chose the Marival Distinct as our travel destination due to the reviews given for its quality food. Those reviews proved to be true- everything we tasted was well cooked, seasoned beautifully and tasted wonderful. As one with an egg allergy, the staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the food served to ensure I was able to eat without worry of hidden ingredients I was unaware of. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful during our entire visit; especially Carina, Elaine (the two ladies who helped check us in) and Daniel (who worked up in Insu). The space was a welcome respite with beautify everywhere we looked. The grounds immaculately kept, the beach beautifully maintained.

This is our second time at Marival Distinct, and we have already booked our next visit! The resort is beautiful, and the food is fantastic. There are two pools, one infinity pool with a view of the ocean and one larger, central pool in the middle of the property that is great for kids and anytime you want to get away from the sand or a windy beach day. There are lots of beach chairs, so it is easy to find a spot anytime of day. We played tennis and did the yoga classes in the morning. I took off a star because I find the spa a little disappointing, compared to others at similar types of resorts. Massage was good, but would have liked a better hydrotherapy space, the steam room was disappointing.

We had another great stay at Marival Distinct. The rooms and grounds are immaculate, and the staff is wonderful. We also loved the food and the option of a short shuttle to Emotions for more restaurant choices. This is the place to come for peace, beauty, and pampering. It’s family friendly with very little noise and not much partying. If your ideal trip is lots to do and 24 hour excitement, this isn’t your place. But if you want to get away and enjoy a beautiful place, this is perfect.
