This trip was no where near as enjoyable as our trip two years ago, and even though it was Christmas holidays, there were too many large extended family groups (8-10 adults with 12-15+ children) at this small resort. The groups staked out seating by the pools by 8:00am, took over the dining spaces, and left the serving staff scrambling both in the restaurants and by the pools. It left smaller family groups with less service, no seating, and just overall feeling neglected.

we have a 1-bedroom unit on the 12th floor. It has a stunning ocean view, large belcony, very large living room area. It must have a full kitchen before. however all pots, pans, utensils, cups are removed. Making the space empty and unuseful.

- Constantly out of chairs and towels at the beach. Several days we had no place to sit(!) - Restaurant staff poorly trained. Terrible service. Low quality food at most restaurants - Poor communication with property prior to arrival. After repeated attempts to make dinner reservations prior to arrival was told this is handled "at the hotel when I arrive". Subsequently was unable to get space in many restaurants during our stay - Advertised restaurants are not actually available (no reservations or space available) - Watered down drinks - Conflicting answers regarding reservations needed/not needed - Concierge not able to assist with several issues - Had to make a reservation in person for new years to be pitched on upgrades and bottle service - Water activities subject to additional charges - This is absolutely not a luxury property but it is advertised as such

Octavio, Carlos and all of the staff at the restaurants and pools were great to work with. Rooms were clean and the cleaning team did a wonderful job everyday. Overall really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay over Christmas '25 - Rooms were nice and spacious. Onsite dining has good food and service. We happened to use SPA for a few services and it is pricey but we had some resort credit, which made it reasonable. The special 4-course set menu dinner service on Christmas eve was really good. We also happened to take advantage of the entertainment programs over in the sister property (Marival Emotions), down the road, which were also quite good. 2 points of feedback: 1. It would e great to have the Penthouse pool being heated, as well 2. The onsite dining options are good but limited - it'd be good to add a couple more - that said, the package did include the restaurants at Marival Emotions which has another ~3 - which may make it ok but having them on the property itself would be ideal or enabling reservations (for Amalfi) on the property rather than having to make the trek over to Emotions, just for the reservation in the morning
