Good stay, room was clean but furniture needs updating. Service was friendly, but slow in large groups. Food was good at mozza mara and insu. Omaggio would benefit from a menu update.

We arrived on Nov 21 and are still here ... despite numerous notifications that we had two separate reservations everyone still thinks we have checked out! We arrived to find a major event taking place without any prior notification which resulted in limited access to the Mozzamare pool area and some restaurants. While this wasn't the end of the world, it would have been nice to give guests a warning. The same happened last year with renovations that were not pre-advised. The Mozzamare pool area has limited loungers and four or five cabanas - the latter of which attract an additional fee. When events take place the loungers are removed leaving only the cabanas which - during our stay - have largely sat empty. Management needs to look at this model as not only does it impact guest satisfaction but also staff as they are more limited in guests to serve and earn tips. If no one is using the cabanas that should tell someone something! That aside, a great stay at a great resort with great long term staff ... always feels like coming home.

Everything was absolutely wonderful for our first visit to PV and area, and stay at the Marival Distinct Luxury Resort. It felt as though everyone working there was happy to make and keep us happy while on vacation at this beautiful property. The hotel's concierge (named Caesar?) was a friendly gentleman with perfect english who would call to check in that everything was to our liking. Marival Distinct is so clean that it sparkles! The cleaning and maintenance team work diligently around the clock, without being noticed or getting in the way of the guests. Without a doubt, the food and service at Marival Distinct is of the highest quality, and a highlight of the holiday. With several restaurants and bars to choose from, the selection, quality and availability of food and beverage is second to none. Similar to the incredible food, the service would always come with a smile, a friendly conversation and check in to ensure everything was suited to our liking. I'd like to personally thank Fatima, Elena, Edwardo, Benancio and Kevin for always providing professional and friendly service in the restaurants. I'd also like to personally thank Julio, Ruben, "Super" Mario and Victor for their outstanding service on our days at the beach. First class service at this first class resort! The rooms were modern, large and very comfortable. The only issues would be that once the steam from the shower set off the fire alarm in our suite for half an hour; and the master bedroom shower didn't drain quickly. Also, the house cleaning staff didn't speak english for the most part, and didn't respond well to our notes requesting certain refills. But those are small details when compared to the overall experience at Marival Distinct, which was hands-down the best experience we've ever had at a Mexican All Inclusive Resort. Thank you Marival Distinct -- our family looks forward to coming back to stay with you soon, and we've already been highly recommending you to all our friends.

We noticed a huge difference in the waiter service and food preparation time. The first night in Omaggio, the waiters barely had time to wait on us. Several days for breakfast and lunch in the Mozzamare, we had a terrible time getting waited on and receiving our food. It's never been that way in the past. It appears the waiters are overworked and not enough cooks. The waiters are running their legs off, but can only do so much. You definitely need to add more waiters. Service in the Insu Sky Bar is good. Also, at the Amalfi restaurant.

We loved all the restaurants on site, good times at insu sky bar and Mozza Mare. We enjoyed the beach with covered seating. Drinks were great and we enjoyed our little one bedroom suite!
