We had a lovely stay at Domaine du Liziec. The location is a little out of Vannes, but the setting with woodland and garden is beautiful. We came on the motorcycle and there is secure free parking. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. We also had dinner at the La Brasserie and the food is amazing.

We came here in August 2026. Very very hot weather. The rooms are very spacious (we had a superior room) with AC. The bed was really good (we have plenty of experience in 5 star hotel), notably very large (bigger than king size), would never notice my wife moving on the bed. The hotel has a spa area with sauna hammam and a small indoor swimming pool which is not overly used, great place to relaxe. We haven't been able to use the fine dining restaurant (you have to book in advance as it's quite busy) but the brasserie had great food offering. Notably the sole meunière is fantastic and the other items are tasty. Nice terrasse, nice surrounding by trees/forest which add to the relaxation. Unfortunately when we were there there was heaps of outdoor pest (counted like 3-4 different type of bugs outside of usual moskitoes that bite you and their bites last for like a week)

Nice hotel conveniently located for visiting all touristic sites in the region. Vannes can be reached by car in 10-15 minutes (parking at the harbour). Small but good and well-equipped rooms.

We booked for 9 nights with our 1 year old puppy to enable us to explore Vannes for the first time. The hotel has a ‘wow’ feel and totally exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful building with great facilities and superb and welcoming staff. The hotel is positioned well to explore the local area and is just a short drive into the centre of Vannes, which is a beautiful walled city and port. A huge amount of parking at the hotel and also a good number of car charging points at various locations around the site. The restaurants and bars were well managed and the breakfast was more than adequate with a good variety of options.

Amazing room, wonderful staff but overall experience fell short of expectations. One of the reasons we booked the hotel for a stay with teens despite it's location was the advertised free bike hire for guests. We arrived to discover instead there was a small discount for commercial hire. Breakfast, what there was lovely and the staff were great but sock levels were low: frequently the still mineral water was empty, fruit salad nearly depleted, pain aux raisins finished and coffee machine had queues due to often being blocked out of water. We loved the option of eggs cooked to one of three options or one of a limited number of drinks made for us, but this aside, it felt like a Mercure/ Ibis breakfast.
The gardens were wonderful, but could you please put some more seating in. There were only two garden seats so we felt discouraged from using them. We would have spent time out there reading despite the road noise, but felt we couldn't changing them from a wonderful potential usable space to just a very attractive vies

Room Set up was wrong, Rude interruptions during Seminar (including moving a whole TV out without even asking), Lunch was so badly timed, manager was extremely rude, dietary request not met. no lunch options avail and menu not shared in advance. We had similar dishes for 3 days.(Gnochi 2x Dinner + Lunch). Seminar room was not set up right- sudden changes in Day 2 which caught us by surprise. Servers came to bring coffee, clacking the cups during presentation. Never seen such a bad organization. Never will recommend this place for seminars

From the moment we arrived we loved this hotel.
This is a well managed hotel with excellent staff.
It is a first class establishment.
Our Dalmatian was also made welcome, which was important.
The only minor downside was that the breakfast buffet of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage were never hot enough......

We stopped only for one night and wished we had been able to stay longer. The property was beautiful with lovely gardens to explore. The hotel is welcoming and clean with large accommodations. The indoor swimming pool and sauna and steam bath were wonderful after our long drive. We ate at the brasserie and had what was the meal in France to date. The customer service and wait staff were perfect.

From the food to the stay, everything was wonderful. The team was exceptional and we had an amazing weekend. Pros: Hotel and grounds are lovely, rooms are well equipped and decent size. La Brasserie dinner was tasty and good value.
Cons: We would have scored it a 10/10 but an incident at the end ruined our experience.
There was a confusion with the breakfast time, we arrived when the kitchen had closed. However, the staff at the kitchen were very accommodating and prepared a last minute breakfast for us, which we really appreciated. As it wasn't the full breakfast spread/experience, they said the breakfast will be complimentary and told the reception not to charge us. On check out, the receptionist refused to refund as we had already pre-paid the breakfast (refunding money back into an account is not impossible in this stone age). The issue is, don't promise something to then go back on your word - this is not professional.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and thereafter nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was a high-quality, particularly the breakfast. The setting of the hotel is delightful with very attractive gardens.

This hotel is friendly, helpful and very comfortable.
The beds are excellent the staff are lovely and the setting is magical.
