room was good; no in-room service and the restaurant was closed at 9pm and it was no internet - the staff knew the internet was down, yet nobody told us when we booked and checked-in. We definitely should have received a preferred price for this major inconvenience, especially when you need your computer to work

We are Accor members but were greeted as though we were an inconvenience, not the usual warm welcome we are used to having stayed in many Accor hotels especially Mecure ones. Breakfasts had good choice but staff did not clean up tables after use so other guests could use especially when there has been a large coach party. We waited till the coach had left and went down to breakfast and there were no tables as none had been cleared the staff were in bar area just talking. As for the restaurant it is a joke it states can seat 100+ but anything over 20 and they can’t cope. We book for 4 nights as closed first night we arrived, there were approximately 15 customers and the 2 waiters were very stressed but food and service were eventually ok. Second night they were approximately 20 and they were even more stressed and made us feel very unwelcome. The third night we arrived and we told we shouldn’t be there as they had a coach party and could not take any guests despite three quarters of restaurant being empty, this was at 8.30 so we said we had not been told our reservation had been cancelled and eventually they allowed us to eat but said we only had choice of 2 things, again very unwelcoming, the 2 guys waiting should not be allowed to work there. I also had food poisoning from the salmon. The next night the restaurant did not even open even though we had booked , it is very bad for the brand Accor when a restaurant is advertised but only opens when they feel like it. Also they took 2 payments on 2 days from my husbands account which we are still trying to sort. The only saving grace for this hotel is the position and the excellent room cleaning staff

Have stayed a few times. Restaurant closed. Took half and hour to get a drink from the bar. Egg boiler directly under fire alarm and blanket . The receptionist was perfect and extremely helpful. Room was perfectly clean and Mercure standard.

Bar service was slow due to lack of staff. The Hotel had a coach party booked in aswell as other guests and only 2 staff dealing with the Bar and food service. No fault of the staff on duty it was a lack of planning by whoever was in charge.

We stayed at the Mercure in Vannes for several days in August. The staff at the Front Desk were very helpful and welcoming. We also found the staff at the Brasserie very friendly, hard working and professional, especially Eric and Samira who really stood out for us. We had the opportunity to meet chef Salima who is equally professional. As we really enjoyed the service and food, we returned to the brasserie many times during our stays. Although there was no impact on our experience, your restaurant is clearly understaffed when you have big groups staying at the hotel. You staff are clearly extremely streched. As an HR Director, I would advise you to address that issue or you will loose your most committed and hard working employees.
