I was extremely unwell the day we were due to check in. My father contacted the hotel on my behalf as I was too sick to call. He was told that I was not able to rearrange the stay. We would have been flexible with dates. I have been using Accor hotels for many years, as have my family and feel very let down. We have always recommended Accor to others. I was so disappointed not to be able to go to Vannes, as this was a trip for my husband's birthday. The hotel staff were unsympathetic and I don't feel inclined to book with you again any time soon. I have lost a lot of money on a stay I just couldn't do. This is the first time I have ever been unable to check in to a hotel. Please consider the scripts your staff use on the telephone when talking to customers and ask them to show some empathy. It's hard to hear "there's nothing we can do."
