Dear Sir or Madam, I was a guest at the Mercure Sofia Hotel during the period 14–16 January 2026. Upon my departure, a pair of Bang & Olufsen wireless headphones in a grey case was left on the bed in room 219. On the evening of 16 January and again today, 17 January, I had three conversations with a front desk employee who informed me that the headphones are simply missing. I disagree with this conclusion and cannot accept that a forgotten item can simply disappear from a hotel room without external interference. I reject the assumption that the headphones might have been taken away with the bed linens and subsequently lost during housekeeping. First, the type of bedding used does not allow for anything to be accidentally trapped inside it, and second, the bedding is white while the headphones are dark grey, making them clearly visible. For your information, on the evening of the 15th I used the headphones until late while listening to presentations and left them on the bed before falling asleep. They remained there when I checked out, and there is absolutely no doubt about this. I am writing this email to file an official complaint regarding the disappearance of the headphones and to express my disappointment about the situation. The headphones are worth approximately 500 euros, but this is not the most important issue here. I refuse to accept that someone can appropriate another person’s property simply because it was forgotten in a hotel. It is common for hotel guests to leave personal belongings behind, but this does not mean that the owner has abandoned them or gifted them to a hotel employee. To me, this is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable for a company that claims to be loyal to its customers.

It was wonderful I honestly enjoyed it. Few points: The shower drainage is very slow, causing water to spill onto the floor unless the water pressure is very low. Cleaning the drain or improving the shower enclosure would solve the issue The king size bed was two beds connected with eachother... caused some back and neck pain while sleeping with my partner
