Check-in was good, no problems. Went to the room, the fridge had been left closed and switched off, so was very mouldy inside. Asked for a new room, was quickly given that, so all good. Bed wasn't great, and seemed to be uneven, had to rush out so didn't think more of it. Came back to room later, tried to sleep on the slightly wonky bed, then in middle of the night (~2am) the bed collapsed - it must have been already broken and been incorrectly fixed. At 2am given we had to leave at 4am there seemed little point in asking for another room, so tried to sleep on the edge of the bed which wasn't broken... useless of course, so had virtually no sleep at all. The bed is the most important thing in a hotel stay of course. Told reception in the morning (before 4am) about the bed and asked for some compension, and was advised the management will be informed and that I should have come downstairs at 2am to advise them of the broken bed when I was already very tired, unable to easily leave the room, and needed to try and sleep more... so, a fairly poor stay at the hotel, and I didn't need being told the obvious at 4am in the morning. Otherwise, breakfast take-out was good, and the price of the room was OK, just the bed that absolutely ruined the stay.
