Room was clean, well designed. But service left much to be desired. At check-in, four employees at reception, but could only manage to check in one person at a time. Although booked for two persons, room set up for one so had to request additional bathrobe and slippers. At breakfast, coffee machines were both shut off. When I asked for help from person who appeared to be supervisor, she replied one of her colleagues would help. But did not inform them. Used dishes were not cleared. Food not replenished. Final note, if pancakes and French toast are offered, at least provide maple syrup.

We appreciate both your positive comments regarding the cleanliness and design of the room, as well as your observations on areas where we can improve. Regarding check-in, we would like to clarify that the front desk is equipped with two operational check-in stations (PCs), which allows us to assist two guests at a time. While several team members may be present, not all are always assigned to active check-in, depending on operational needs at that moment. We regret if this caused any delay and apologize for the inconvenience. We also apologize that the room was initially set up for one person despite a reservation for two. Your feedback has been shared with our housekeeping team to help prevent similar oversights in the future. Concerning breakfast, we regret that the coffee machines were temporarily unavailable during your visit and that service did not meet expectations. For clarity, there was no female supervisor on duty at that time; the supervisor present was male. Additionally, maple syrup was available at the buffet, with three bottles provided for guests. That said, we acknowledge your concerns regarding table clearing and food replenishment and will address these with the breakfast service team. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to improve our service. We hope to have the chance to welcome you again and provide a more seamless experience. The rest was ok

Dear Valued Guest Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you found the requirement to leave a credit card at reception before ordering at the bar inconvenient. Please understand that this is a standard procedure in many hotels and serves only as a guarantee for any consumptions during your stay and it is also for your convenience to be able to post everything on your room's bill instead of settling every charge on the spot. It is not meant to be restrictive in any way, and we apologize if it came across as unnecessary. Great and welcoming staff, from the reception staff, the concierge, the dining room and even the friendly cleaners. The hotel facilities were of a good standard, clean, proper and very useful. The room was pleasant, large, clean, airy and bright with unique facilities such as a coffee machine and a free and regular supply of capsules and water. The breakfast was good and satisfying in a large and pleasant dining room. The hotel is not central so you have to drive everywhere but that is one of the reasons we chose it, we were looking for peace to rest and relax. Overall we received good value for the price, we have recommended you on Booking.com and to friends. Keep it up, thank you and see you on your next visit to Sofia.
