This is my second stay at Mövenpick Jakarta and it has been lovely as always. The hospitality is very good and consistent. Special thanks to Yolanda and Tamara for their kindness and attentive service throughout my stay. I always feel comfortable staying here and will definitely visit again next month.

I just wanted to say that the General Manager is so lucky to have such a great operational team. From the Concierge to the Front Desk to the F&B, Housekeeping, and everyone else behind the scene. It seemed they were well-trained as everytime I interacted with them, they absolutely knew what they were doing. To have been able to tackle the New Year's eve celebration stress level with such calmness and politeness, kudos to everyone! We loved the Xmas decor, the chocolate hour, evening drinks and mini buffet, in particular the most fantastic variety of breakfast options. They were endless and so much appreciated. Much better breakfast here than the Raffles Jakarta. The only thing we were a bit disappointed was the limitation of having 1 drink per person only during afternoon tea which was truly surprising as this rule does not apply in any other 5 or 4 star Accor Hotels equipped with the executive lounge benefits. I sincerely hope that the GM and stakeholders will consider to improve it. Last but not least, I was impressed with the Gym equipment and sauna-steam facilities. Great job!

This was my 3rd stay at the hotel. I wrote a review on google maps after my 2nd stay, saying it was one of my favourites in the city. Unfortunately, my stay this time around was a bit... disappointing? I don't know why but the vibes I got was a little off. My impression from how some of the staffs responded to my requests at the time was somehow I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong? Especially at afternoon tea/chocolate hour and breakfast. But the last straw was when I got a whatsapp message asking about tea spoons (!!) missing in one of the rooms? Again, I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong. Even if I did bring the teaspoon with me by mistake, what would I have to do? Would I have to pay or something? Even until now, I'm still wondering what I did wrong, did I make too many requests? Was it because I was using my membership benefits? I don't mean to damage the hotel reputation, that's why I'm choosing not to publish this review. I just need it off my chest.

Nice room but the soundproof can be better

This is my 3rd time staying at the hotel. The occupancy was full house so it's understandable if the hotel service was stretched to its maximum limit. The pool area was used for NYE pool party so access was limited. But on the following day (1 Jan) the locker room was opened at 6AM but the locker keys are not available because the keys are stored at the Spa which open later. At 6AM the Sauna & Steam also still non operable. IMHO to ensure a satisfying guest experience, they need to synchronize the operation period of the gym, locker room, swimming pool and spa, not just opening the swimming pool. They don't write down the operation time in the rules/regulation. My other concern is underage kid (toddler) was allowed to enter the gym. From a medical point of view, gym is not a playground for children because it has a risk hazard for kid
