My recent stay at TRIBE Bangkok was extremely disappointing, especially considering that I had planned everything well in advance and expected at least a basic level of professionalism from an Accor-branded property. Unfortunately, the experience was filled with avoidable issues, unresponsiveness, and a complete disregard for my Accor Gold membership benefits. To begin with, I had requested the redemption of Accor points for my stay well ahead of time. This wasn’t a last-minute request—I had clearly communicated with the team through email to ensure everything was sorted before arrival. However, the hotel completely failed to confirm or process the redemption, and shockingly, I was informed at check-in that it could not be honored. This was not just inconvenient, but unacceptable. If the team had simply responded earlier or confirmed the request, I would have easily chosen another property. Instead, the lack of clarity and poor communication put me in a position where I had no choice left upon arrival. Speaking of communication, the response time to emails was painfully slow. Messages were left unanswered or acknowledged only after repeated follow-ups. For a supposedly modern and guest-centric brand, this level of inefficiency is extremely disappointing. The check-in process itself was another frustrating experience. It took far too long, with no sense of urgency or ownership from the staff. After a long journey, the last thing any guest wants is to stand at the front desk endlessly, waiting for the team to sort out internal mismanagement. Adding to the disappointment was the hotel’s complete failure to recognize or honor my Accor Gold status. No welcome benefit, no acknowledgment, no courtesy—nothing. It felt as though loyalty holds no value at this property. As someone who stays with Accor frequently, this was quite disheartening. Overall, my stay at TRIBE Bangkok felt like a series of missteps caused by poor communication, slow service, and lack of respect for loyal members. The hotel not only failed to deliver basic hospitality but also caused avoidable inconvenience by mishandling my points redemption request. I genuinely hope the management takes these concerns seriously, because this experience has left a strongly negative impression and raises serious doubts about staying at this property—or recommending it—again.

We enjoyed out stay, the bed was comfortable and the pillows great. The breakfast was great and staff were wonderful. The one small negative is the size of the rooms and the price is a bit high.

The hotel is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood, room is nice but receptionist’s service quality needs to be improved a lot
