We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, everything was walking distance (for us) to all the sites we wanted to see. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, with excellent views of the city being on the 10th floor. All the staff we came across were great and the rooftop bar was also great.

Lovely hotel, great service, great location

A good option for anyone visiting Valencia by car. The hotel itself doesn't have its own parking, but there's a large car park right next door where you can leave your car for around €15 a day. It would be great if the hotel provided clearer information about this to guests, or even negotiated a special rate — this was the one downside of an otherwise great stay. The location is excellent, right next to a metro station and bus stops with lines that go directly to the city center. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent.

I thought the room, lobby and rooftop bar were well decorated, kept very clean and were great facilities. I was dissapointed with how overcrowded the sunroof got, how shallow the pool was, as the water was dirty by mid day and how few sunbeds there were.

We stayed at Novotel Valencia Lavant and overall had a good experience, although there was one fairly serious issue with housekeeping. The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is easy to reach from the airport by metro and the station is close by. For getting into the centre, however, we actually found the buses even more practical. They work very well in Valencia, there are several stops around the hotel and they make it easy to reach almost anywhere. On foot, it takes around 10 minutes to get to the Torres de Quart area. Nuevo Centro shopping centre is also practically attached to the hotel, which is useful for shops, a supermarket and generally having everything close at hand. At check-in the staff were friendly and the process was fairly quick. There is also a priority desk for members of the hotel group’s loyalty programme, which can be useful when reception is busier. We had an Executive Room on the 11th floor. The room was modern, pleasant, well maintained and overall quite spacious. We also really appreciated the minibar, which is included with the first stock; any further refills are charged. The hotel is spread over several floors and at the top there is a rooftop area with a swimming pool and Sky Bar, definitely one of the highlights of the property. The bathroom, on the other hand, felt a little small compared with the room, and we were not convinced by some details of the layout. For example, the hooks for the bathrobes are positioned above the toilet. Personally, I would much rather have had them next to the shower or even in the bedroom. The main negative point of the stay was the housekeeping service. We had left the sign asking for the towels to be replaced, but when we returned to the room the clean towels were missing. When we pointed this out, the staff member who came to the room immediately told us that she had not been the one who cleaned it. As a guest, that detail is honestly not very relevant: the issue still remains the hotel’s responsibility. The worst part happened immediately afterwards. She came into the bathroom with the clean towels and placed them on top of the closed toilet. While she was sorting out the shower area, one of the towels fell onto the floor. She picked it up and simply put it back together with the clean towels. For me, this is not acceptable. Regardless of who had originally cleaned the room, this is a basic hygiene issue. The bathroom soap dispenser had also not been refilled. Another small disappointment was related to my partner’s birthday. Before the stay I had informed the hotel and asked whether they could arrange something, even just a simple birthday card in the room. I was certainly not expecting gifts or anything special, but unfortunately nothing was done. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very good. We did not experience any particular waiting times, there was a wide choice of both sweet and savoury food, and the quality was good. It was definitely one of the best parts of the hotel. The lifts were another minor issue. Especially in the morning, when many guests are going down for breakfast or checking out, they are not always quickly available and at times the wait can be quite long. Overall, I would give 4/5 for the room, 4/5 for the location, 4/5 for breakfast and 4/5 for the staff, taking the overall experience into account. Housekeeping, however, gets 0/5 from me because of what happened with the towels. Overall the hotel is still a 4/5 for me: modern, very convenient for visiting Valencia and with many positive points, but housekeeping standards and hygiene checks definitely need to improve.

Checkin was nice and easy as it was 11pm at night, room was nice comfortable very dark which I like, breakfast was fantastic very busy and loads of options. Irskin I think he was at checking and he was very friendly and informative at checkin, would definitely stay again, only used the rooftop briefly for a quick drink and it seems very nice and cool. I had room 1120 overlooking the roof of a carpark but it didn’t matter as I was always out. Will definitely stay again.

Comfortable bed and great sleep. Roof top pool was busy and the water very dirty. Seemed to be a problem with the drains. They were smelly and there was big truck outside dealing with it. At €340 for family room felt quite expensive. Overall I was less impressed than with some other Novotel stays.

The rooms were small and I hated the LED lighting in the rooms. The Breakfast was nice and the Staff was great!

We stayed at Novotel for the 2026 solar eclipse and it could not have been a more perfect stay. Our room was wonderfully comfortable, clean and fresh. The staff were all, without exception, incredibly friendly, kind, patient and always doing anything they could to accommodate any and all requests. The breakfast was fantastic, the views were great, the Skybar was phenomenal. The park is right there, as is public transit, so I truly cannot think of a single complaint. I especially want to commend the staff because Im sure many guests, us included, kept asking the same questions about roof access for the eclipse, but they never let it show. On a personal note, my partner and I ended up getting engaged on the rooftop after the eclipse, so that's another reason why this hotel will always stay with me in the best way. But rven without that personal reason, it was a genuinely fantastic hotel. Truly cannot wait to be back

Well located. Comfortable room. Nice swimming pool on the roof. Close to public transportation (bus and subway) and to useful shopping area.

Check in took 20 minutes as the queue was very long

None of the lifts was working and hotel close to rubbish collection which had a very strong smell in the room. Room was v dirty. Pool super small and unclean.

Friendly welcome, good breakfast. Not up to 4-star hotel standards. No restaurant, just tapas on the 12th floor, but you have to book several days in advance. The room, with no closet and only a few shelves, reminded me of an Ibis Budget room, but more comfortable.

Brief two night stay here. Staff were excellent, extremely welcoming and friendly, as well as very helpful and knowledgeable. A real asset to the hotel. Room was functional and clean, plenty of sockets including USB C & A. Shower was excellent. Room was very hot upon check in at 2130, and it appeared the air con refused to drop below 25, but reception explained this was due to Spanish laws on minimum temperatures, and that the window had not long been closed. Sure enough it regulated itself to a more comfortable level after a couple of hours. Would definitely stay here again.

The sofa bed was a nightmare in the Executive Room. Somehow the mattress was bent and sloped like a banana. I asked for help twice, but they managed to make it even worse by adding some sheet covers under it. In the end, I had to put the mattress on the floor and sleep there. I simply cannot understand how I ended up sleeping on the floor in a 5-star, expensive hotel. This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.

Really great stay, staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean, well supplied in a great location.

We only stayed for 1 night at the end of our holiday. The choice for the Novotel was purely based on stats.... 4* - twin beds - rooftop bar and pool - next to Turia park - Public transport - Shops - Walkable to the old city center. And it did not dissapoint! Very friendly welcome including a small attention for my daughter who turned 19 on the day of arrival.

A real problem was that the Aircon didn’t work. We were then moved rooms for our final night but the Aircon still didn’t go below 23 degrees, making it uncomfortable.
