Generally satisfactory but with some issues that, if solved, would make the experience significantly better: 1- Elevators were slow and poorly coordinated - being in the top floor made every journey to and from the room a slow and unfriendly experience 2 - The thermostat in the room would not lower the temperature below 22.5 degrees Celsius - too hot for a comfortable sleep 3 - The thermostat also lit up during the night disturbing my sleep - I had to cover it to prevent the light from waking me up 4 - Water in the shower - at the 11th floor, the pressure was just enough for the shower, a little higher pressure would be welcome 5 - One of the four days during our stay, the water in the shower was just tepid, added to the low pressure did not make for a nice experience that morning 6 - Foul smell throughout the hotel several times during our stay - frankly spoils the experience in a 4 1/2* hotel.

We are very sorry that several aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations, including the waiting times for the elevators, the room temperature and thermostat light, the water pressure and temperature in the shower, as well as the unpleasant smell you noticed on some occasions throughout the hotel. Your customer service is one of the worse I had ever experience beginning with customer service at the front desk. Also the rooms not as great.

overall, we have stayed at Novotel numerous times until now, so we are quite familiar. The value of the hotels & rooms are fair having in the overall quality. The only suggestion is that the breakfast is quite expensive (we went without it precisely because of that) and that you should have a cheaper option, especially for families with kids.
