It is well-located, with good parking and a good breakfast. The room is small and has a mini desk. The small window cannot be kept open because everyone can see inside since it is on the ground floor facing the parking lot, so the room is always dark. Horrible bathroom. I don't see the point of putting a curtain instead of a door at the entrance to the bathroom. The toilet only has a half-door, offering zero privacy. In the shower, the water spills all over the floor; you have to put a towel down that gets completely soaked, otherwise the floor floods. There is no proper lighting—just mini spotlights in an already dark room. Ironically, the brightest light is in the toilet cubicle, where it isn't even needed, presumably so everyone can clearly see who is inside. On top of that, I chose the 'superior room' because I thought it would be better, but it barely makes a difference. At least the cheaper room had a bathroom door.

We found the attitude of the receptionist to be dismissive and abrupt to the point of being rude. As a diamond member we requested an early check-in if possible! To be barked at “check-in is 2 o’clock”. I commented I was a diamond member and again she barked back “it’s only if it’s available”. I will add we were accommodated with an early check-in but it was the attitude that spoilt our arrival! I was not made to feel welcome and my loyalty was not acknowledged by her throughout our stay. The following morning I rang and asked for a slightly later check-out 1pm. Again she was totally dismissive - No we are fully booked and I need you out by 12.00 she barked! My partner checked on-line and rooms were still available and on sale!! I was about to have a shower at 11.30 only to find there was no water! I rang down and there was a water leak and it was being repaired. We had no prior warning. I said “but you want me out by 12.00 and I haven’t had a shower”! Oh, you can stay till 1 or 1.30! We had a room booked at the end of the month - we have cancelled the booking due to the receptionist attitude and abruptness!

As soon as the situation arose, our team extended your check-out time to minimise the inconvenience. We are sorry that the communication from reception was perceived as abrupt, although we are confident that our team acted in accordance with the hotel's procedures while managing a busy operational period. It is never our intention for any guest to feel unwelcome, regardless of their loyalty status, and we regret that this was your perception. The hotel did not have any amenities available for people who forgot something. Never in my life have I stayed at a chain hotel who didn’t have toothpaste available. There was also a restaurant there, and the menu in the elevator said that food is available 24/7. we came back late in the evening from a concert and was told there was absolutely no food available. We relied on the info from the elevator as everything around the hotel was closed. Besides this, the hotel was ok. Breakfast was average and the room was clean.

Overnight stop over. Never been here before. But will most certainly stop here again. The Staff were so nice made my 100 year old mother & my dog very welcome. The breakfast has been the best I've ever had in an Ibis.

Friendly staff and all speak English very well. Modern, clean and silent rooms with lot of parking places. Plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Breakfast is very tasty.
