This is a budget hotel just a five minute walk away from the airport and also close to a metro station with metro's giving access to the centre which is an adequate accommodation for a comfortable bed and a refreshing shower. The basic room has a bed, desk with chair and television. No frills like safe, fridge or closet space for clothes. Just two shelves and some hangers. Airconditoning wasn't working yet early April and the room was hot and stuffy, so I had to sleep with my room open which gave some noise from traffic and planes. Avoid a room close to the elevator, like the room I had (505). In an airport hotel people come in late and leave early and this disturbed my sleep sometimes. And this must be the only Ibis Budget hotel left not to participate in the Accor All loyalty program. Even the Ibis Budget Valencia Centro Puerto now participates. So as a Platinum member I missed my points, the nights to keep my status and even my welcome drink. Overall for the rate paid (€64 a night), I was satisfied.

The only reason I’ve not given 10 is because this poor hotel, through no fault of its own, is surrounded by road works and it was really a challenge to get to it - Google Maps was pretty useless! It’s not their fault but I think if they had warned us and perhaps sent a helpful map, it would have been a lot less stressful for us. Also on a positive note - if you look at Google Maps and it tells you it’s a 27 minute walk to the airport that’s rubbish - it’s 5 mins and the hotel were very helpful about that.
