Disappointing Experience During Our Stay in Ramadan

I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent stay at Sofitel Shah Al Madinah during Ramadan. Unfortunately, our experience was far below expectations, despite having stayed at your hotel multiple times before. • Room Service: Throughout half of our stay, housekeeping was extremely delayed, and our room was not cleaned as expected. Instead of proper service, we were simply handed water and towels at the door, which was quite frustrating. • Prayer Hall Temperature: The prayer hall was uncomfortably cold, set at 16°C. Despite repeated complaints from myself and other guests, the temperature was further reduced to 14°C instead of being adjusted to a comfortable level. To make matters worse, the control panel was covered, preventing guests from making any necessary adjustments. Many women struggled to pray in such freezing conditions, making the experience distressing. Unfortunately, this stay has been a major disappointment. Given our past positive experiences, we had higher expectations. However, this time, we are seriously reconsidering staying at Sofitel Shah Al Madinah again. We hope you take this feedback into account to improve your services for future guests.
