The reservation agent was helpful and explained the process in booking and payment her name Shahad Algrafi as I booked 3months in advance before umra ramadan communication with Reema Alharbi was very good before arrival 👍

Check in with Nehal was superb!She recognized and checked us in fast explaining the lounge location and breakfast times.Also offered an upgrade the following day which I was extremely happy about as that almost rarely happens!

My stay at the Mövenpick Anwar Al Madinah was a mix of excellent elite benefits and some initial operational friction. Upon arrival, the check-in process was a bit complicated; the main reception was unable to process my request to use Accor Live Limitless (ALL) points for the booking, stating they couldn't see the option. I was redirected to the dedicated Accor member desk, where the staff eventually agreed to the deduction after consulting with colleagues. It’s a great property, but as a Gold member, I found that you really need to know your benefits and be persistent to ensure they are applied correctly. ​The logistics of getting into the room also required some patience. I was told the room wasn't quite ready and that I would be contacted as soon as it was available, but unfortunately, no call ever came. I eventually returned to the desk myself after the Asr prayer to successfully finalize the check-in. On the positive side, my Accor Gold status was ultimately recognized with a room upgrade, and the view from the room was truly fantastic. It’s a solid room product that makes the wait feel worth it once you are finally settled in. ​In terms of location, the hotel is well-situated, though it is worth noting for fellow travelers that it involves a slight detour to reach the Haram gates when compared to the more direct path from the Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah. While the walk is manageable, those prioritizing the absolute shortest distance might notice the difference. Overall, it’s a high-quality hotel with excellent views and strong status recognition, provided you don't mind navigating some initial communication gaps at the front desk.

Bad service , completely unhygienic Old and dated dirty rooms. Bathroom dirty and toilets flooding. Most definitely would not stay here ever again
