Room was very old, toilet is working but also very old, minibar was not clean and filled with ice although they changed it but even the changed one was old and barley worked. the hotel it self is outdated, Service was good but not as expected compared to price Breakfast was very good Location is excellent very near to women gates in haram.

August 24 to 29th, room 1003 My stay is perfect from check in till check out, checked us in early & room was upgraded;Special thanks to Ms Muhjah ; guest relations desk during check in ,my room is a renovated one ,very clean & hygienic. Thanks to Mr Rahoul,Monjur & helal and housekeepers in floor 10; my room always very clean & all stuff needed are provided. Executive lounge is very big with nice varieties of complimentary food, snacks, drinks; special thanks to Mr Osman for serving during my visits to the lounge & thanks to Ms Marya & all girls there. Breakfast restaurant buffet with alot of varieties & delicious food thanks to the supervisor Mr Sadiq (or Sajid) also to the manager Mr Hisham & all chefs and thanks to Mr Tawfeeq & Mr Muhammad Rasheed and all team there. My thanks to all in the hotel for their attention, follow-up & polite attitudes

Let the pics tell the story... and don't bother replying to this review with your baykaar response. You will NOT be hosting us again. Management and front desk staff are also bukwaas 😂 Only plus point to this hotel was the fantastic location... the court yard is on your doorstep... and the housekeeping staff are underpaid for what they do for guests.

Very disappointing 😞 the first time I cam to Mövenpick the service was amazing the second time it was terrible and we thought because we booked online there may have been a misunderstanding. The third time I booked through a reputable travel agent in SA. I get to Madina at 7pm and there was an error @ the hotel side they had booked us 4 Rooms we were honest enough to tell them then we wait for an hour before they give us a room and we got 2 terrible rooms they weren't even in a decent condition. When we approached the reception they want to charge an additional 300 riyals more per night per room which is ridiculous. They say it's the agent that booked the rooms like this. But I'm not the only family with a problem and if was the agent what was the previous excuse. I wouldn't book Mövenpick again and I would never recommend it to anyone either very upsetting especially when you are being treated this badly especially in Madina.

Absolutly Terrible hotel, its a 3 star hotel not 5 I make this review has an alert to all the brother who have plan to stay at this hotel thinking its a 5 star hotel, bear in mind that at this moment it can be considered a 3 star hotel. Will try to relate my journey to this hotel in August 2024 with my family, my wife and 2 kids. I arrived at this hotel on the 16th August 2024, my name is Mohammad Yassen, and booking was under my name also. I came from Makkah where i stayed in the same group of hotel the Swissotel also 5 star hotel. I left Makkah by train at 16:00 arrived in madina at about 18:00, went straight to hotel was giving azan of magrib i went to read salah, and after it went to the reception. With no exageration i stayed 1hour and 30minutes to 2hours in the que to check inn, there were on 3 people with a lot os customers! So i got the room at the time of isha, they took the bags to the room and i went straight for isha. The first room they gave me 5066, was all dirty, some walls with rubish, it was leaking water from the gorund at the entrance of the bathroom!!! The matress of the beds you can feel the coils!! TV didnt connect to internet! Alarm clock time was wrong! So firstly i spoke to my agent that i wanted another hotel, but it was late that night after calling room service/reception and everything else went to reception after 2 hours they gave another room! (Many people at the 5th floor were complaining and they switiching room for everybody) Please bear in mind that we are speaking of a 5 STAR HOTEL!!!! Then they gave a room on the 8th floor a bit better but the AC was not working well, i was so tired and frustraded that i promised to my myself not to complain anymore, because i came to Madina for peace and to pray and will not loose anymore time complainning! During the 4 nights of my stay i only went 1 time for breakfast, for a 5 star hotel it was a disaster in terms of organization, cleaning and too crowded! I am not used to make reviews but it hurts my feeling someone who pays for a 5 star hotel and gets service of 2 or 3 star hotel! The duty manager the next day, asked me to go to him, he was very polite and said the hotel is under renovation etc. I agree the hotels can trough renovation and everything else, but it should a 5 star service? What the renovation has to do with 2 hours to check inn? He offered my a upgrade to haram view room etc but i declined, i answered to him, even if the celing collapses i will not complain! I am tired! I hope this reviews get to some senior people at the accor group and do something about it. I am not chasing any refunds or compensation , because i already declined it. My main concern is other not to be scammed like me! I stayed in the month in swissotel makkah, pullman city center dubai, with absolute 5 star service and conditions , with no complains, on the contrary was very good service!
