Dear Ms S., Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Firstly, I would like to say how lovely it is to have welcomed you back to Liverpool for such special occasions. While I am glad to hear that you found your rooms comfortabe, I am truly sorry that other aspects of your stay fell so far below expectations. While we appreciate that one of your rooms was not quite ready on arrival and that a drinks voucher was offered as a gesture of goodwill, I completely understand how frustrating the delay must have been, particularly when you had plans for the evening. I am also very sorry for the confusion and limitation regarding the voucher. This should have been clearly explained, and I appreciate that offering beer-only vouchers was not suitable for your group. More concerning is your experience in Palm Court that evening. Waiting to be served, needing to repeatedly chase orders, and still receiving incomplete drinks is certainly not the level of service we strive to deliver. I completely understand how disappointing this must have felt, especially during such an important celebratory trip. Your comment that your experience dropped from a “10 to a 3 or 4” is genuinely upsetting to read, and I am very sorry we let you down on this occasion. Please be assured that your feedback will be shared directly with our Food & Beverage Management Teams so that we can review both service levels and communication. This is not reflective of the standards we aim to uphold. We truly value your previous custom and the fact that you chose to return to celebrate such meaningful occasions with us.
