As per my Google review; My main issue with my stay was not the room or location but your scam add-ons. See Google review below Scam. Add-ons for example access to a pool offsite, upon research it’s actually cheaper to not book the pool through the hotel. 1 star due to misleading money grabbing tactics. Spoke to receptionist surrounding this, the idea of paying extra to have access to a heavy branded tote bag and towel (which they also supply) carting up the road is not a perk or a reason to justify charging more than the usual casual admission fee. Reevaluate your current advertising surrounding access to external facilities and either make your prices cheaper than the regular rate or don’t advertise it at all. I don’t know anyone who takes pride is carrying heavy branded hotel merch around the streets of Sydney and that does not justify charging more. Your current marketing having access to a pool is a joke, you are paying more than the casual entry fee to a COMMUNITY POOL that you need to walk 7 minutes to, and provided heavily branded items (that you need to return) and a water bottle. If that is a ‘perk’ I would like you to reconsider the term perk and look at what other hotels are doing to encourage their paying guests to use their services. Disappointing and needs to be looked at, if I knew this was the case we would’ve booked elsewhere that isn’t a upselling money grabbing hotel.

Initial room 901 was totally unacceptable - stains over most of the carpeted area and broken fixtures. Moved to a more acceptable room upon request. Value for money - barely. The only plus, the location the manager was excellent is addressing our concerns.

Regretfully the broken fixture wasn't reported to the hotel team that morning, but I am happy to report that we were able to repair it after you made me aware of it - so thank you for that. Experience was very much like a budget style hotel but the price was as close as a Sheraton nearby. The reception not co-ordinating with each other across their shifts causing last minute worry and trouble for me. Room had a broken piece in the doors, dusty coffee machine and old expired coffee sachets kept. The room in itself did not have any view, not at all worth the money spent.
