This hotel is definitely NOT to the same standard as other Mercure hotels in Australia and overseas, despite similar pricing to better standard Mercures. As a Gold Member, I was not very warmly, nor even acknowledged for being a loyalty member. My room was not ready when I checked in, despite having priority early check-in/late check out and I was told I would have to wait. When I asked how long the wait time would be, I was told by Reception staff that they didn’t know. When I asked for a can of Coke for my ‘Welcome Drink’ to take to my room, I was told that there were none available, as well as Coke Zero & Sprite. I had a choice of bottled fruit juice or bottled water. What hotel does not have a single can of Coke available? The room I was allocated had broken bathroom fittings & no hairdryer, which I only discovered when I was getting ready the following day & was too late to chase one up. This hotel really needs to lift its game with the finer details, as well as basic customer service, otherwise loyalty members will start looking elsewhere to stay in future.

Well located but worn facilities. Quiet if you don't turn on aircon and your room is away from high foot traffic area (poor soundproof door). The staff is pleasant and helpful.

Hotel was a bit aged but comfortable. Was disappointed with breakfast 2 days out of 3 had to ask for things there was nobody checking to restock.
