This is my First time to stay at the Fairmont hotel. The room was luxurious and comfortable. The receiving staff and restaurant staff gave excellent service. Very helpful and accommodating. I’m just a bit disappointed at your policy for access to the lounge. Being a platinum member i was informed that only diamond tiered members have access to the lounge.

What truly makes this hotel extraordinary, however, is its people. I would like to sincerely thank Fanny, Mini, Will, Peng, and every single member of the Fairmont Xiamen team. Every interaction was marked by warmth, professionalism, genuine kindness, and a sincere desire to make every guest feel welcome. Whether at the front desk, concierge, housekeeping, the restaurants, or elsewhere in the hotel, the level of care was consistently exceptional. Unfortunately, I had an accident during my visit to Xiamen. Moments like these reveal the true character of a hotel. The way the entire team immediately came together to help and support me went far beyond professional hospitality. This wasn’t simply outstanding service—it was genuine compassion. They cared because they are people who truly want to do good. Luxury hotels can offer beautiful buildings, elegant rooms, and excellent facilities. Fairmont Xiamen certainly does all of that. My wife and I recently spent five nights at Fairmont Xiamen during our travels in China. Looking back, I realised something profound. Luxury hotels are expected to have beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, elegant facilities, and excellent food. Those things satisfy expectations. But they are rarely what people remember years later. What people remember is how they were treated. During our stay, my wife caught a cold. A housekeeping lady, Ms. Tao Fengying, quietly noticed that she wasn’t well. Without us asking, she brought us extra bottled water and bath salts. Even more touching, she continued doing so every day until we checked out. Around the same time, the front desk discovered that it was my birthday. They surprised me with a fresh fruit platter and a birthday cake. Every morning, the breakfast team produced an extraordinary buffet. The bakery, in particular, was exceptional—crispy, buttery, fresh, and among the best we have enjoyed anywhere. Each department was doing something completely different. The housekeeper cared for our wellbeing. The front desk celebrated a special moment. The kitchen created joy at the beginning of every day. None of these people worked together on a single task. Yet together, they created one powerful feeling: “These people genuinely cared that we were here.” That led me to today’s realisation. Great experiences are rarely created by one grand gesture. They are built from many independent acts of care, performed by different people who all share the same culture. Like an orchestra. No single musician creates the symphony. Yet when every musician plays with excellence, the audience remembers the music rather than the individual instruments. The same principle applies far beyond hospitality. In business. In leadership. In marriage. In friendship. People may appreciate what we provide. But they remember how attentively we noticed them. The ability to notice unspoken needs is one of the rarest forms of generosity. And perhaps the most beautiful part is this: Ms. Tao Fengying will probably never know that her quiet daily kindness became the highlight of our stay. To her, it was likely just another ordinary day at work. Yet her name now appears in a heartfelt review that people around the world may read for years to come.

Fairmont Xiamen is truly one of the best Accor hotels I have ever stayed at. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with elegant rooms, excellent facilities, and a level of comfort that makes every stay memorable. What impressed me most was the food. Every meal was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The quality, variety, and attention to detail were exceptional, making dining one of the highlights of my stay. The entire team consistently went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful guest experience. Fairmont Xiamen perfectly combines luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.

Staffs at the front desk were not very familiar with the rules and benefits of the membership and could not provide a good impression of this stay. However, breakfast was good for both taste and service.

The rooms are well cleaned and the housekeeping staff is so sweet to leave a note after arranging our things. The breakfast spread is good and well presented. Definitely worth a repeat stay.

This was my first time to stay in a Fairmont. Am very much delighted that my first Fairmont was in China and, in particular, the brand new Fairmont in Xiamen. All was excellent. Should there be any area for enhancement, it is likely to be continuing to upskill in English language proficiency due to international status of Accor and Fairmont. Fantastic welcome was given by Mr. Chris and Ms. Niki. This, alongside the entire Concierge Team. Mr. Chris was impressive with his Accor knowledge. Special thanks go to Ms. Lynn from Breakfast. Ms. Lynn is extra attentive to details, warm in character as well as proactive as the Breakfast Manager. I met other F&B Managers who likewise were hands-on, accommodating and friendly: Mr. Eric, Mr. Addison, Mr. Jeremy. I was also impressed with excellent hospitality by Ms. Xonia and Mr. David. Breakfast Team showed English proficiency that did not need translation. A bonus! The Lounge Team were always ready to assist and interact. Thank you to Ms. Joanna, Ms. Wienna, Ms. Dolores and Ms. Daisy. Chef Leo made one of the most delicious Fried Rice I have ever tasted.

Overall very good service. Great service by Amber at gold lounge. She is helpful and professional. Great room condition and design. Hotel facilities is good, the fairmont spa worth to try. Fairmont Gold lounge experience is great

I would say the overall experience is good, but the professionalism of the hotel staffs are always a little bit weak, i.e the staffs cannot provide the fapiao, always, no matter front desk or restaurants, can you please provide more trainings on these ? In addition, sometimes the breakfast service is not so good, the staffs sometimes ignore my requirements during the busy period, i.e coffee or fried eggs , cannot bring to me in time, sometime even forgot what I needed...

Everything was great. As diamond member the staff upgraded me to a suite which was appreciated. All the Staff were great!

This was my first time at a Farimont hotel and the accommodations at the Fairmont Xiamen were lovely. I had some issues with the A/C and the public space scent in my room and the hotel staff took care of both immediately. The breakfast and gym were top notch as well.

Great experience, we will stay again for sure. Your staff made the stay great! Club room is very nice. Breakfast was great. Staff were even better!

For this trip to Xiamen, I chose to stay at the Fairmont Hotel again. The front desk staff greeted me warmly and informed me that I had been upgraded to a sea view corner room. The room had an excellent view. Three bay windows offered a panoramic view of the sea and bay. The room was exquisitely decorated and fully equipped, showing the hotel’s luxurious texture. The only slight downside was that the welcome fruit received upon check-in was relatively simple, with only jujubes. After I fed back this issue to the front desk, the staff was polite and promised to improve immediately. Later, they sent a rich new fruit platter with a variety of types. The efficient response speed and sincere service attitude perfectly made up for this small regret. Overall, the stay experience was excellent, reflecting the hotel’s service standard. It is highly recommended, and I will choose to stay here again when I come to Xiamen next time.
