spent one night in pullman xiamen hotel and was upgraded to a garden view room with twin beds. The room is a bit small though and facing the street ... so noise from passing vehicles is unavoidable.

From the very first moment we felt very welcomed. The check in was quick and easy. We got some information about the best sightseeing places and good restaurants. The location of the hotel is great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a mix between Chinese and western, the food was excellent and the restaurant stuff was very helpful as well.

The room is too small for a Pullman hotel

I do not get a so good experience in this hotel. First, I do not get a welcome drink when I arrive this hotel until I ask them to offer. Secondly, the room is too small for a Pullman hotel. It’s seems like a Hanting hotel. Finally, the breakfast of this hotel is so bad that I can’t get full.

Bathroom better than many

This was a really good base for exploring Xiamen. Everything I needed was there. It was good to have drawers in the room to put my bathroom items in, rather than have to clear them away every day before the room was cleaned. The bath was an excellent size for relaxing, there was a useful plug in the bathroom basin (but some water did escape when it was in position) and a good pull-out line above the bath for drying items. Reception staff were very helpful with showing me city locations on the map. I appreciated the later check-out that was available to me as an Accor Gold member, at a time when the hotel had a large number of guests. There were only 2 things that perhaps could have been better: the switches in the room for lighting, albeit labelled, were a bit confusing ... and the red wine that I chose tasted as if it had been in an opened bottle for too long. Maybe it was simply a wine that was not to my taste. I would certainly go back to this hotel again if I needed to stay in the area.

We love the wide varieties of breakfast but the cake is not fresh and hard. Check in counter not helpful as we requested a room with 3 paxs and they did not help us to arrange beforehand.

The room and service is ok but during my breakfast at 26 Nov 19 , some one put portable table in the middle of walkway in the breakfast counter without any signage warning , as the color of the portable table same colour of folle marble , it happen I falling down to floor and my left leg got hurt for one weeks

1) front desk staff not able to print me receipt even asking the day before check out n on the day of check out , as I had other guess not check out before I left . But I ask her to email me yet today print receipt is still not received??? 2) book a taxi one night earlier 19/11/19 to airport on 20/11/19 6:45am , but when I check out it was not booked ??? 3) ask front desk on the lounge access happy hour time ( with liquor drink ) section , but seem front desk staff are not family ya , which end up I do not ask to change to executive room ??? 4) tonight I stay at Pullman zhuhai executive room , front desk are more well versed with executive lounge access detail ya !

Few people from the staff speak English. The executive lounge was closed for improvement and works. It was not written when I booked this hotel. This hotel is more designed for local population, not international ones.

Hotel is nice, but..... By checking in i was downgraded being a gold member. After telling it to the manager (the only one speaking English) i was upgraded to the suite. So far so good. But The people at the reception are slow, do not understand English. We asked 2 times if their was a massage service in the hotel. 2 times the answer was no and we were send to a place 10min away from the hotel. On the last day we went to the swimming pool and what did we see? Yes a massage center :) The business lounge was closed (we were not informed upfront) we got our happy hour food and drinks in the big retaurant. Ok but it wasn't so relax as in a lounge.

The service provided by the hotel staff was excellent. They were friendly and helpful. The Chinese restaurant also provided authentic Cantonese cuisine with reasonable price. I definitely will stay at this hotel next time.

I stayed here together with my family and friends. We booked 7 rooms. I sent an email, to reconfirm all of our reservations, and asking any ugrade before my arrival. Received a reply after sending the second email, stated that all of our reservations are confirmed but refused any upgrade for us. Checked in was not smooth, took a long time, despite my email sent before stating informations of each room. I was given executive floor with free breakfast for two. Thank you for that. But my other family member did not get any upgrade, nor free breakfast eventhough using my member when made the bookings. Jason, who was helpful and attentive, helped me during checked out time. I asked him to closed all the bills of 7rooms, even the 2 rooms that would checked out on 10March. I also asked for free breakfast for 4 person, 2 of them were elderly, 87 years old. Jason said it was ok. But my brother's credit card was charged eventhough i already asked to closed the bills, and we didn't know for what expenses. Furthermore, I didn't received any points or status nights for all of my reservation (5 reservation for 3rooms each 4nights). I sent an email to hotel and made a complaint through accor customer service. Received the point already, but my brothers didn't received his points yet. Hotel itself is nice, the view from my room is beautiful. Room is clean and comfy. Breakfast was good. Will stay there again if I come to XiaMen.
