While the hotel is well located, and the rooms are large, the service was sorely lacking. On check-in, my room was not ready, and in spite of leaving my cell phone number, there was no communication about when it would be ready, nor when it was in fact ready. They supposedly asked housekeeping for expedited cleaning of the room (I arrived at 11 am and understood my room would not be ready, though I booked through Amex and requested an early check in). My room ended up not being available until 30 minutes AFTER guaranteed check in, with zero communication about room timing in the interim. Service in the restaurant was beyond inattentive - other guests were loudly complaining at breakfast, they were severely understaffed in the restaurant. And I saw the one server on duty at breakfast outside the hotel on her phone, while people at tables were visibly frustrated. After my first day, I started ordering room service for breakfast so I didn't start my day with the frustration of the restaurant experience. Great location, but management has a lot of work to do to make this a five star hotel experience. They have a long way to go.

I got upgraded to a larger room. The bed was incredible. The only issue was that I had an accessible room and there was no shower curtain, so there would be water everywhere after a shower. However, the hotel suggested putting down extra towels which helped mitigate the problem.

Spent a whirlwind 36 hours in Paris with my daughter and the Delano did not disappoint. Had stayed at this jewel of a hotel in summer 2023 with my husband and just fell in love with the hotel, the staff, and the outdoor space for an afternoon cocktail and morning coffee is simply wonderful. And what can I say about the concierge desk? I can say Carl Philipp and his colleagues are outstanding. They facilitated the ordering of wine from a small vineyard after I had a delicious bottle of the wine at a lunch also facilitated by, Carl Philipp!
