Good stay but not perfect

Overall, our stay was alright, especially since we arrived unannounced without a reservation. Fortunately, there were two rooms left. The room itself was perfect, but there were two issues that impacted our experience. Firstly, around 1:30 a.m., the fire alarm went off, waking us and forcing us to get up, wake the baby, and leave our room, only to be told it was a false alarm. While this wasn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault, it would be great if they could resolve any ongoing issues with the fire alarm. Secondly, when we went down for breakfast around 9 a.m., we couldn’t find a place to sit right away and had to wait until a seat was available. Once we were seated, we noticed there were no clean coffee cups left, so we had to wait for those as well. Additionally, there were no microwaves available, which made it challenging to warm up the baby’s milk. We had to ask a staff member to heat it for us, and while they were willing to help, it would have been more convenient if we had access to a microwave. The first attempt left the milk too cold, so we had to ask again. These issues affected the overall enjoyment of our stay. While everything else was great, these small inconveniences made the experience less ideal.

Unfortunately, our system works a little too well at times and in others, it has been due to guests not following the rules regarding smoking in the rooms. In either case, we acknowledge the problem it poses on the rest of our guests and we are deeply sorry for the lack of resful sleep expected when staying with us. We are also sad to hear that the breakfast wasn't as pleasant as it should have been. We have taken your remarks into consideration in order to improve our service for all future guests. Really great hotel. Clean, nice bar, friendly staff. Did not feel like a budget hotel at all. Was able to charge my car for a really cheap fee. Has a good swimming pool as well.

Good location for ZooParc Beauval. Great facilities for families, a little toddler play area in the breakfast/bar room with some toys, dress up outfits and colouring in. Even though it was only small it helped us pass some time with our energetic 3 year old twins. Also had a small outdoor pool.
