Swimming pool closed - there was no upfront communication about that - to me great disappointment I had to learn that when checking in. If I had known that, I would have brought my running shoes instead of my swimming clothes! Also disappointed about the restaurant: very small menu, half of the plates were not available, in the end I ordered steak tartare - there were no fries - just could offer a "bigger salad", and the steak tartare itself was also not good.

I'm truly sorry to read about your disappointment and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. Please allow us to clarify that your reservation was made through an external travel agency. So, we did not have access to your direct contact details to send you this information concerning the temporary closure of the swimming pool. Nevertheless, this information was clearly communicated in advance on all of our official sites , including our Accor website, Booking.com and Expedia. I'm also sorry to learn about your dissatisfaction with our restaurant Le Quai experience. Your comments regarding the menu availability and the quality of the dishes have been shared with our food and beverage manager Mr JACQUES for review and improvement. Finally, I regret also not to have the opportunity to discuss these matters with you at the time of your check out direct exchanges. I hope you will welcome you to the future to get more satisfying experience in and to discover our recent hotel with new rooms and a modern and comfortable relaxation area. This was my first stay and overall, was a great experience. From the reception, to the Restaurant, the people always had a smile. I also loved the amenities - the gym, swimming pool and rooms were fantastic. Only the first night felt a bit dusty, but after that, it was great.

I had a wonderful stay at Mercure Blois with my two teenage children (16 and 15). The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center, which made exploring the town very convenient. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety for all of us. We also loved spending time in the heated pool, sauna, and hammam. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for families!
