Overall, everything was fine, but this time there was an unpleasant sewage smell inside, gave info to reception. I Like Tribe Riga city, I know you can do better

The location of the hotel is very convenient, we had an upgrade, the room was in a good state and very comfortable. Breakfast was a bit limited in choice, however the items were refilled frequently. All the staff we've seen at reception/bar/housekeeping/restaurant were friendly!

I stayed at this hotel for over two weeks and had a mixed experience. The room was stylish and well renovated, with excellent soundproofing. The bathroom was also a highlight, featuring high quality toiletries, but the building’s age showed in the uneven, squeaky floors and drafty windows. In fact, I was only able to get the room warm thanks to the thick curtains, which I had to arrange carefully - pulling them away from the radiator to let the heat out, but tucking them around the window frame to block the cold wind. For a stay as long as mine, the lack of a proper wardrobe was a significant downside. Also, the fridge was useless, even though it was technically running, it didn't cool anything. Regarding cleanliness, the floors were actually clean, but the walls had visible dust and handprints, and I noticed cobwebs on the ceiling. I also had to unclog the sink myself, and the bedding was occasionally damaged or put on inside out. While the spa and gym are modern, the hallways and stairs feel neglected and smell old, which brings down the overall vibe. Breakfast offered decent variety but got repetitive. However, a serious safety and hygiene concern stuck in my mind from one breakfast. Staff opened a window - I assume to air out the room after some commotion with other guests - and the draft knocked a heavy picture right into the food, missing my hand by about a centimeter. Accidents happen, but I was concerned that the staff simply cleaned the picture and left the contaminated food on the buffet as if nothing had happened, which felt very unprofessional and unsafe to eat.
