I was in the room 101 which was good size for me. It was easy to reach, silent and stayed cool thoughout the night. The room was tidy and the bed comfy to sleep. Personnel at the reception was very kind and relaxed. The breakfast was very good too! Overall a very good experience!

The Central Bank of Latvia, which welcomed us for two days conference with all EU Central Banks proposed us a few hotels for our stay. Among them, I selected the Tribe as my daughter, who is working for Accor at the headquarter in Paris recommended it to me. I was disappointed with the welcome at reception on Friday 5 June. Despite arriving early, the room I was allocated (room 103) was not well situated, overlooking the entrance and the stairs (no fresh air when opening the window), and there was no hot water for the shower. I asked to change rooms three times and discussed with a sale manager who promised me to find a solution, but I had to raise my voice before the receptionist deigned to move me to another room, which was finally very comfortable. Nevertheless, this incident leaves me with a bitter taste regarding my experience in Riga. Regards, Isabelle

Nicely renovated hotel. Perfect breakfast with lots of choice and tasty flavors. The gym room was also good and well equipped. I didn't use the spa facilities. The Jacuzzi was not very appealing as it was not on and the idea of deeping into a water where many had been before was not very exciting. The bedroom was rather small (room 213). The space to hang clothes was not tall enough, my dresses could not hand straight, a pity. In the bathroom, there was not even room to put my washbag. A glass for toothbrush was also missing. But what I didn't like was that there was no ventilation in my room at all. The air was very thick because of that and the only way I would sleep was with the window open. The air was clearly not circulating in the room. Please do something about that. And because of that, I will not come back to the hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights on a personal trip. We have never seen anyone in the hotel, be it reception, restaurant, or anywhere giving out a smile to us or anyone else. We got a feeling that we are unwanted guests. Even on phone from the room, the reception was rude. I am surprised that this is an Accor Group hotel. I have stayed in Accor Group hotels in several countries, but this hotel gave us strange unwanted feeling. The hotel being a heritage building, has fairly well maintained rooms though. The location is excellent.
