Amazingly clean hotel , air con in rooms is way too hot at 25. There are controls in room but you cannot turn temperature down, it is set by hotel at winter time. Don't buy breakfast here it was awful, food is barely warm , croissants were burnt every morning of our three night stay. Mini bar prices are crazy €7.5 for a small bottle of coke. There is a Rimi store only 5 minutes away , small bottle of coke there is €1.5.

We had a great couple of days at the Pullman. The hotel is very well located for exploring the old town and the food in the restaurant is excellent.

I have very mixed feelings about my stay. There were certainly high points: the breakfast was absolutely outstanding (possibly the best I’ve ever had in a hotel), and the bed was extremely comfortable. I also want to highlight that the staff were unusually pleasant and helpful, which isn't always the norm for service in Riga. The TV and Wi-Fi were also top notch. However, the room itself was a letdown for a 5 star hotel. The layout felt awkward and cheap, with the sink placed directly in the bedroom area on a large section of tiled floor. While the floor was heated, visually it made the space feel cold and clinical. This wasn't helped by the white walls, and cold white lighting throughout the room, which ruined any sense of coziness. The fragmented layout, with four different doors leading to small separate cubicles for the shower and toilet, just didn't work. Comfort and hygiene were also compromised. My room had a locked connecting door to the adjacent room, so soundproofing was non existent. I could hear every word and sound from my neighbors. I was also disturbed by the location of bed lights and bright blue light from the wireless charger at night. Most concerningly, I noticed silverfish crawling in the bathroom area, and one morning, leaving the shower door open caused the room to smell strongly of sour, stagnant water. While the service and food were great, the room’s engineering, lighting, and cleanliness standards need serious improvement.

Breakfast was not good, old dry croissant. Bar staff was very unpleasant, slow and not so service minded. I have stayed at Pullman before and been very pleased but the Riga Pullman was a great disappointment.
