We also appreciate your comment regarding taxi access in front of the entrance. Due to the hotel's location in the Old Town area and the nearby Parliament building, traffic in this area is restricted and special permits are required for vehicles to drive up and park directly in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, this prevents taxis from stopping right at the entrance. Nevertheless, our team is always happy to assist guests with directions and luggage whenever possible to make arrival and departure as comfortable as we can. The temperature in my room was uncomfortably high (26+ degrees), and it wasn’t possible to turn it down. I had to sleep with the window open just to make the room bearable. The receptionist came to check, but unfortunately confirmed that the air conditioner wasn’t working and couldn’t be adjusted. This made the stay far less comfortable than expected

We spent five nights at the Pullman Riga Old Town during our first trip to Latvia, and it turned out to be the perfect base for discovering the city. The hotel sits right on the edge of the UNESCO‑listed Old Town, so we could walk everywhere—museums, restaurants, and all the main sights. The building’s old exterior hides a modern, stylish interior that feels recently refreshed. The staff were lovely—young, friendly, and always happy to help. Check‑in was quick, and our room had a great view over the park and square. We enjoyed the bar in the evenings, which was well staffed, and the breakfasts were excellent, with some interesting Latvian options freshly prepared each morning. After long days exploring snowy Riga, the swimming pool and sauna were a real treat. Our room itself was comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and had a window that opened, which we always appreciate. Overall, a well run hotel with a great team.
