Close to old town

Good service and convenient to walk around the old town. However taxis cant pull up to the front as its close to parliament/presidential palace so if you have a lot of luggage like i did its a struggle and the staff don't help you with it.

Car parking difficult, rooms very dark, location was ok.

Our first impressions weren't very good because the carpark is difficult to find, something that could be easily fixed with a pre-arrival email. The rooms are very dark, a cold grey tone, and the bathroom layout made it feel a little like a prison cell. As an Accor member I went to redeem my welcome drink, but it was a long wait because the man behind the bar was too interested in chatting to other customers who weren't even ordering, leaving his female coworker to do all of the work, this happened on multiple days and to other guests. The location of the hotel is in a good area being in old town, but not really centrally located. The hotel was at least rather well priced.

A two-day private conference organised by my employer. Very comfortable venue - bedrooms clean and functional. An amazing buffet for breakfast and a good choice of meal for lunch. However, the staff are what elevates the rating: they were very friendly and helpful and a credit to Accor.

I had booked Premium Superior, 1 King Size Bed - room and I requested for quiet room. I was given lower category room and in very noisy location. My friend booked lower category room (superior room) and her room was much bigger than mine. Next morning after a noisy night, I went to complain to reception, the girl insisted that my room was bigger (basically she lied). She didn’t have a solution right then, I told her to check with manager. Later that day I was given lower category room. I asked for compensation since I had paid more and I got a lower room category, it took them another day to decide they gave me 20% discount. I truly hope I would had been given the right room when I checked in and that you don’t teach your staff to lie in customers face.

Food poisoning

I arrived o. Tuesday morning and had breakfast in the restaurant. After that i got food poisoning which still lasts.
