Good hotel, but the bartender working in the restaurant is unhappy and left a bad impression on the service. You should think about the impact of such employees on your image.

not good one, will ask my corporate office to start booking another hotel, we use also Hampton Inn, also they have excellent gym

Silent hotel, good bed, I got very good sleep as the automatic climate was very good for the room, not hot for night time. Got parking place behind the hotel (17eur per night). Breakfast choises were good, I liked pineapple, melon and watermelon pieces and the brownie the most. Shopping Center Origo was next to hotel, visited it in the evening. I Really enjoyed the stay at Mercury Riga Centre. Booked my stay from Hookusbookus.ee site with very good price.

When travelling with children I always choose hotels with lobby bar/restaurant. Unfortunately, they were both closed for several days due to 'technical reasons'. I have read some other guest reviews later on and it seems to be a more common hotel practice. Not acceptable for a chain hotel! Probably the hotel is simply understaffed, but I did not ask. We were given a room with a view at the other building's wall, so I wanted to go out even more, but the child did not want to leave the hotel so we have spent the whole evening in the dark and depressive room. I must admit, that apart from having no view, the room itself was really nice, clean, comfortable beds. The breakfast was also great. If you don't need a lobby bar/restaurant and get a room with some view, then you might get a fully different experience with this hotel.
