As a diamond member. I came as a family of 4 for 5 nights including new year eve. It was the second time for us and we still love the food served at both breakfast and diner buffet, and a great level of service. Kid club is nice and easy for my kids. Well located in front of the beach, this is an amazing place to spend holidays.

We had a 4 night pre-Christmas mini break in December and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. - at the concierge’s recommendation we did the 3 hour private City Tour. It was excellent and very good value - we were lucky to catch Santa Claus arriving at the hotel… on a camel! - we walked the beautiful beach to the Marina for lunch - we watched glorious sunsets - we ate in all the restaurants in the hotel. All were excellent particularly the outside pool restaurant and the waiter service there was beyond exceptional - the Lychee Martini cocktail is an absolute triumph - I was treated to a tea at breakfast one morning that was created for me, poured in the traditional way (3 times) with great ceremony. Delightful. I read the Google reviews before we stayed and I would agree that by international standards it may not have all the attributes of an international 5 star hotel. But whatever one considers it lacks, it is more than made up by the total experience which in my view is beyond 5 star and hard to find these days. This is primarily down to the genuine friendliness and helpfullness of the staff. I hope to be back soon.
