We had a great stay overall.
The resort is big rather than boutique but the staff were all super friendly, the food was consistently excellent (although pricey) and the ocean and beach club were much better than we had imagined. The water was not cold at all in September and gentler waves than back home in Sydney.
Breakfast was particularly good, although would be nice to provide proper barista coffee rather than the slightly bitter push button stuff.
While the restaurant food and service was great, the overall atmosphere was quite subdued due to the fact that there was a very large religious holiday group during our stay, apparently 150 of the guests had their own catering. This meant that often there were only three or four tables occupied at dinner so wasn’t big on vibes.

Fairmont Taghazout Bay is a green oasis on Taghazout Bay, directly situated on the beach in Tamraght. It felt amazing to wake up to the sound of waves right from the balcony.
Special thanks to the concierge team for organising a separate transfer at the last moment (due to a delayed flight). Also, I want to praise the staff at Beef&Reef for an amazing, tasty dinner and nice service and conversation.

We had a great stay overall.
The resort is big rather than boutique but the staff were all super friendly, the food was consistently excellent (although pricey) and the ocean and beach club were much better than we had imagined. The water was not cold at all in September and gentler waves than back home in Sydney.
Breakfast was particularly good, although would be nice to provide proper barista coffee rather than the slightly bitter push button stuff.
While the restaurant food and service was great, the overall atmosphere was quite subdued due to the fact that there was a very large religious holiday group during our stay, apparently 150 of the guests had their own catering. This meant that often there were only three or four tables occupied at dinner so wasn’t big on vibes.

Fairmont Taghazout Bay is a green oasis on Taghazout Bay, directly situated on the beach in Tamraght. It felt amazing to wake up to the sound of waves right from the balcony.
Special thanks to the concierge team for organising a separate transfer at the last moment (due to a delayed flight). Also, I want to praise the staff at Beef&Reef for an amazing, tasty dinner and nice service and conversation.

Beautiful hotel. Quiet and spacious. Felt private. Great pools. Big rooms. Good food options, Morimoto and breakfast a highlight. Maybe a Moroccan themed restaurant with local dishes would have been good. The staff were the absolute highlight and made us feel really looked after especially around the pool and in the restaurants. Overall a wonderful experience that we would recommend to anyone.
