We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely hotel. Food throughout the hotel was delicious and prepared with love. Perhaps we would have preferred less music in the beach bar and just to enjoy the sound of the waves. Our room was outstanding and we were looked after by 3 polite, smiling, lovely ladies ( Zahira, Leila and Sukehna) who kept the room clean and tidy. Wonderful to have rose petals on the bed greeting us as we arrived. The concierge seemed a little confused to point out the location of the hotel on a map and we would have preferred more tourist information to be made available in the hotel. We will not hesitate to recommend the hotel and its facilities to our friends and colleagues.

While the facilities are nice - especially the pool, I do not recommend this hotel: - We have been food poisoned with the food served from the room service & restaurant "La plage". This should never happen in any hotel, but even more in an hotel like a Sofitel. No apology or anything from the staff. - The overall level of service is disappointing and not to the one expected for a 5-star experience - some examples just to name a few: room not ready upon arrival (at 8pm), no one to help you get set on the beach mattress, drink order not taken or forgotten, people screaming at you when you ask for a towel (always short of it), baby chair not clean before giving you one...And many more examples.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the experience I have had during my current stay at your property (Room 112). As a loyal member, I had high expectations for the level of service and hospitality Sofitel is known for, but unfortunately, my experience has been far below standard. Upon arrival, I was left waiting at the front desk for approximately 20 minutes without any assistance or acknowledgment. Despite my membership benefits entitling me to a room upgrade, none was provided. The front desk staff claimed there was no availability, yet it is clear from checking online that upgraded rooms are indeed available at this very moment. To make matters worse, I was asked to pay the full room rate even though I used points for this booking, which is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of understanding of the basic reservation process. The front desk staff appeared completely untrained and uninformed—unable to answer even simple questions. His unprofessional conduct reflects poorly on the hotel’s service standards and suggests an urgent need for additional training. The service issues extended to La Plage restaurant, where I was ignored upon entry and had to find my own seat. After being seated, no one brought me a menu or offered assistance. For a property of this caliber—and at this price point—this is entirely unacceptable. The food itself was equally disappointing and far below the standard expected from Sofitel or any comparable luxury hotel. Overall, this stay has been highly unsatisfactory and far from the level of quality and professionalism I associate with the Sofitel brand. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and address these issues promptly. I would also appreciate a formal response and a gesture of goodwill to restore my confidence in the brand.
