Hotel well located, nice and spacious rooms, and excellent breakfast. Personnel needs coaching and training, lacks the basics of communication skills especially the front desk. Early check-in and late checkout not granted (no consideration for platinum elite status at all during the whole stay). Upgrade as well not given. At the swimming pool area, personnel refused to give towels to my kids until I show up with them (not giving any importance to them and by the way they are the first ones to consider in terms of customer care. My kids told me not to come back to this place again in the future) People at the reception took long time to checkout and establish the final invoice (big mistakes needed to be corrected before printing out the bill), and instead of spending the day at beach chairs, I had to stay 3 hours at the hotel reception desk. Minibar invoice sent to both rooms (no price list in the rooms), we taught some products were offered as amenities to platinum members. They sent the manager to check the existence of the price list and said that we got a rid of it in both rooms). Also, the day we arrived early around 9AM, and by the time we were waiting for our rooms to be ready, we were offered to have a breakfast for free at the restaurant. Surprisingly, I found out a charge fee of 150 USD for this breakfast. Really, we were not happy at all. We have been in many Sofitel hotels before, and we have been treated in an excellent manner. This establishment should be rated 3 stars hotel and 0 stars for service and accommodation. I do not have to forget the personnel at the breakfast area, they were the only positive point in this vacation, they were excellent.

The lady who checked us in was very attentive and a room upgrade was appreciated. The location of the hotel and direct access to the beach were a plus. As a guest that’s spends many nights in five star hotels each year, there were a few things, in my opinion, that need improving.

The hotel and its amenities are first-class. There are issues at the front desk and our check-in took nearly 90 minutes, after the 3:00pm check-in time. This fiasco started us in a negative light, but did not ruin our stay. Our first room was on the ground floor facing a construction site. We chose to pay more for a room with a better view (same class of room). The beach is amazing! The service to the lounge chairs was wonderful.

The hotel is the perfect place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. The suites are a slice of tranquility , 2 pools with many areas to sunbathe or chill and the sea are the bonuses! The staff from the moment you arrive, to reception to everything in between, the staff accentuate your holiday! Breakfast, lunch at the seafood restaurant and dinner at the tapas restaurant offer excellent menus. There are too many people to thank but Yassin at front desk along with the reception staff, Wiam and all the staff at the restaurant at breakfast and lunch are so lovely and Youseff at the pool really made our holiday extra special.
