The hotel itself is great, I have only positive things to say. The location is great, the view, the room, the facilities, the comfort, the cleanliness - everything was great. However, travel is a 24-hour-a-day affair, so a reception that is open all the time is incredibly beneficial and really a standard for a hotel of such a position on the market. For one, you always have somebody present if you need anything. Two, you don't end up standing in front of closed hotel doors at midnight, like I did, wondering what to do. Especially since, being a traveller and not a resident, you may not have a local SIM card, and public internet is not widely available in Switzerland. So you cannot just contact the hotel. Also, the person answering the phone should really be competent enough to speak English perfectly and be able to understand and swiftly solve a problem with a lack of access to the hotel.

The distance from the railway station was to far and taxi in short supply, sadly the restaurant was being refurbished and so we had a KFC and we were charged for extra coffee pods which was just miserly.
