When we arrived, we were assigned two rooms which had not been cleaned on the second floor. We went back to the reception and they assigned us new rooms on a different floor. The trash can in the bathroom had not been emptied. On the second day of our stay, I put the sign asking not to clean the room on the door, yet when I returned in the evening, the window in the room was wide open and it was cold in the room. The next day, I did not put the sign at the door. The room was cleaned, the bed was made and the towels were changed. Again, the window was left open and the room was cold when I returned in the evening. This was my third time staying in this hotel, and this time was a rather bad experience. I am not sure if I will stay there again when I return to Bregenz.

Three things called my attention for my one-night stay of one night at this hotel: - While I was doing my check-in, the man working at the reception was nothing but rude, as if he didn't care at all if people were in the hotel or not. As an example, I asked a question about breakfast, and he literally answered "whatever!". He didn't explain anything about the hotel. I asked if he could speak English (as I don't speak any German), and he said yes and continued speaking German to me. - When we entered the room (the two of them - one for me and my wife, another one for my kids), it seemed to have a cloud of dust in the air. I honestly don't know the last time a vacuum cleaner saw that room. Result: Anti-allergic to everyone right away, that day and the following day. - The toilet was filthy. There was hair from previous guests everywhere in the bathroom. In the shower place, there was mud on the corners. It was really disgusting.
