Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff is super friendly, welcoming and nice and they go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. The mattress on the bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on in any hotel. The whole vibe about the hotel is just really good. Location is excellent as is the food and drink offered at the bar and restaurant. Really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend.

Negative - there were toe nail clippings in my room. Even after 3 days of cleaning they never got hoovered up. It makes me question how much attention is being paid to cleaning. Similarly as a regular guest the shower drains constantly block and flood the bathroom with water. If they were more regularly cleaned they wouldn’t flood. Positive - the changes to the food menu are outstanding. I ate in the restaurant all 3 nights - the fish dishes, salad and chocolate fondant were delicious!!

Based on experience with Mercure hotels so far, this was my worst experience. There was dust in the room. The ventilator in the bathroom is very noisy, I had the impression there is an airplane near me; it requires to be fixed/changed. At breakfast, I had to ask for the simple fried eggs as the tray was empty. After this the two persons started to check and bring out different meals where that was required. Staff insufficient. You cannot rely on one, two persons. It was almost like one person does all. The waiter or the responsible person was putting his hand inside the mugs when bringing those to the shelf. The door to the kitchen revealed unclean floors in the kitchen area below the cabinets. The floor in the breakfast area was not clean either. The tables were not very clean. The Rauch juice dispenser had some colored fluid. You cannot call that a juice. It was definitely not what it was supposed to be, it was very diluted. So, overall there is room for improvement and more staff is needed, not just 1-2 persons in the breakfast area.

I've stayed at your hotel while on business with my company Neopac on many occasion and usually I wouldn't have any complaints as I find your reception and restaurant staff really friendly, helpful and lovely overall. On this occasion however, I was slightly disappointed with the housekeeping. Upon walking into my room after the first night, I actually wondered if my room had been cleaned as I found the bed as I had left it. On the second day I noticed the dirty towels had not been picked up off the bathroom floor and I'd also been charged for a bottle of vodka from the bar fridge in the room! Of course I was surprised by this and explained to reception that I had not drunk the vodka which she very kindly disregarded. I really understand the pressure the housekeeping team must be under but my integrity was in question on this particular occasion.
