If you need a place for staying in Tokaj there is nothing better than Mercure Tokaj Center. Its location is excellent: if you book a proper room you can enjoy the picturesque view of Bodrog and Tisza. Once staying at this hotel be sure you will return there not only for the beautiful views. Mercure Tokaj Center has extremely friendly home atmosphere. You can feel it right at the reception. Its staff is always open, helpful and make you feel welcome. Szilvi’s kindness worth thousands words. Very clean room, cleaning service is just perfect. The same can be said about the spa facility. It is not big but ideal for relaxing. The food at the restaurant is outstanding (thanks to the chief), the waiters are very busy but stay very polite and ready to help any time. For sure we will return to Mercure Tokaj Center and would recommend it to anyone.

Well located, nice team, but restaurant too slow, and communication issues

Stay was overall good but two problems were noticed: - restaurant service was abnormally slow (over 50 minutes before getting main course after ordering it) - communication issues between evening and morning teams, resulting in in-room breakfast not corresponding to what had been requested

Fantastic staff, enjoyed every minute we spent there. Breakfast was great, our room was comfy and clean. I recommand to try the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel is in the city center next to two rivers crossing, so the view is nice as well.
