You definitely can’t beat the location of this hotel! Lovely warm welcome … free chocolate hour, free water bottle refilling station. Our room was large, bright, had excellent lighting and everything we needed. We were on the 4th floor overlooking the station and I was worried about street noise … but we couldn’t hear a thing! Super comfy bed and pillows — I slept like a baby :) Security seems good — you need to use your room key to get up the elevators. The only negatives? We were shocked at the quality of the bathroom towels — super thin, some with holes, stains on others. Oh, and our bathroom fan wasn’t working — we notified reception on the third day of our week-long stay, and maintenance looked at it, but they said “that’s just how it is” (very weak and doesn’t really help vent the bathroom).

Me and my daughter spent a night, staff were very friendly. The room was perfect with a good sized bathroom and comfortable beds. Pool was clean and a nice space to swim. We enjoyed chocolate hour and the comfortable chairs in the foyer.

The explanation of how to operate the “key card” to us oldies was lacking. Then the room was dark and couldn’t find the holder so had to phone for instructions..Younger ones are more familiar and after 11hours on a train I was pretty stressed let me tell you..

Pleasantly surprised by the Movenpick Hotel. We were accommodated with a room away from lifts and in a quiet area of the hotel - and it was perfect! Comfortable bed, clean, bathroom was spotless. The only thing I would note is that whenever doors are shut nearby, the room door would also rattle as if it was being opened by someone - probably an air pressure thing? The complementary Chocolate hour was a bit disappointing though. We turned up a little later than 2pm, approximately 2.20pm, and it was evident that some guests had already cleared one of the plates (we have no idea what it was, as there was no replacement offered). We gathered a couple of small cakes/slices and enjoyed those - thank you - but it wasn't really a 'chocolate hour" unless you liked chocolate covered nuts. We decided to go shopping and one of us had to quickly come back to the room before 3pm (probably about 2.40pm) and couldn't help but notice that items weren't restocked so if you weren't able to turn up until after 2.30pm, there was even less on offer. It's a lovely idea but we felt it didn't live up to our expectations. Other than that - staff were friendly, and helpful, Breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed a comfortable stay at the Movenpick and would choose to stay there again.
