Breakfast was terribly bad, eventually decided to skip. I had paid to have access to the room at 8 am, but was not given access without a specific explanation - had to request a refund. Was given a room at the 1st floor, which was extremely noisy.

I was located in a priviledge room on the first floor. The street noise from the alley next to the hotel was very loud, the windows did not stop much from coming in, especially as teens were using the alley to play football each evening to 10 pm. Was concerned that the hotel locks the door and the gateway out front, is this not a secure area?

The hotel needs definitively to be completely refreshed as it isn't at the standard of Mercre. Bed lights weren't working, the room was dark, carpet really old like the furniture!!! :-(
