Mercure Birmingham West Hotel 4 stars

I went to see Anita, the holistic therapist, who does treatments there. Meciej and Marita, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and the reception area was well set out. I'd definitely recommend it.

I’ve been coming here for the over 5 yrs, to see Anita, the sports therapist that tailored treatments with holistic health / nutritional recommendations for me. As soon as I entered the reception I was warmly welcomed by Stefan who was very helpful as was Yvonne. The hotel has a to wonderful atmosphere, and has been completely refurbished to a very high standard. After my treatment I enjoyed a lovely drink and meal , Caesar salad in the lounge area , that has a lovely ambiance and relaxing soft music, in the background ! I will be back soon.

The online price is good: £63; the location is great (the Vine pub Tandoori grill is a half mile away and a ten minute walk; it's a must for dinner). The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly. Disappointments: £7 parking fee, which they keep quiet about online; and the breakfast didn't really add up to £12; the buffet was a cold one and the Full English was cooked on-demand, which is fine in principle, but having expected to see the hot choices, the thin, small bacon rashers (for example) was not impressive. Overall, I will certainly stay again and I recommend the hotel with only the minor reservations as above.

It was ok, the room was clean and the food was ok. However you had to pay for parking which will put off future guests. It was also an unusual location the review from my bedroom window overlooked a housing estate. One thing I would like to add was the not so good customer service as the staff were passive aggressive and made curt comments, making the stay uncomfortable. If was askd stay at this hotel again, it would be a no for me.

The staff at this establishment work very hard to ensure you have a pleasant stay at the West Bromwich Mercure hotel, the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet ensuring a good nights sleep, in the restaurant the fresh food is cooked to order and you are looked after by very professional staff who are very polite and attentive ensuring a pleasant meal, a big shout out to Yvonne and marita. at the main check in desk, Bal & all the staff in the restaurant & bar,
