Terrible place… got stuck in the elevator for over an hour

I had a terrible stay and was stuck in elevator 3 for over an hour. No one from the front desk checked to see if I was ok or even offered a discount on my stay. This place feels nice but the quality of service and amenities is lacking. They force you to charge everything to your room. It is a joke. I travel a lot for work and will never stay at an Accor hotel again.

Novotel stay was great. Loved our breakfast and lunch in the restaurant, servers were cordial accommodating warm and friendly Every area of the hotel was pristinely clean. Only downside was that you needed your key to operate the elevator and access pool. If you were traveling with more than 2 to a room it made getting around inconvenient since you only got 2 keys.

We recently stayed at the Novotel for a concert at the American Airlines Arena. The room was spacious, clean, and the bathroom was quite modern and spacious - a pleasant surprise. The service when we arrived by the valet was warm and welcoming - the gentleman who was working recognized us throughout our stay and made our stay special. The roof top pool is beautiful and yoga on the Sunday morning was a nice addition. The lobby is clean and bright. Location is great - walking distance to Brickell and South Miami Road and its restaurants and bars. We even walked back from the arena which was a 30 minute walk. Very central to the Brickell area and easy to navigate the neighborhood.
