I visited this hotel as a solo female all the staff were courteous and polite, the room beautiful and spacious the next morning I realised its location wa so close to cafes restaurants and bars all much nicer and safer than South Beach My only issue was the Happy Hour I asked the reception they could not tell me what it consisted of, even the website links no mention what is was it’s advertised all over the hotel yet you use the roof top bar nearly impossible to obtain a printed car menu or any details of the Happy Hour not everyone wants to “scan” and then study a small phone especially if you have guests with you

I’ve stayed at the Novotel twice now and generally I like the hotel. It’s in a great location, it’s clean, and has a great restaurant & rooftop patio! This past stay was a little disappointing though. I upgraded us to an Executive Suite, thinking the room would be nicer. However it was facing the monorail (loud every time a train went by), and the blinds were broken so we had the sun beating in as it rose in the morning. We tried having someone come up to fix the blinds, but they gave up after about 5 minutes and left. Front desk said a supervisor would contact me after we checked out about this issue, but they never did. I would recommend not upgrading to a Bay view room as you will be facing the monorail. It’s better to be on the other side of the building so that you can have a quieter stay.

I paid for a room with a city & bay view and was in the second floor

changed room twice. Curtains were blocked and couldn't be open on 9th and 7th floor. I don't understand they were not aware of it. Move to second floor. Room was almos fine with hand shower broken. DOES NOT LOOK like a 41/2 stars hotel
