I had a afternoon flight followed by morning flight and I decided to spend the stop over at ibis. Getting through customs at KL was very easy but finding the way to the hotel took some time - they have a free shuttle but I ended up taking a taxi. The hotel was close, had spacious and clean rooms next to a pool. The dinner by the pool was good. I took the 6 am shuttle to airport so I missed the breakfast, which was probably a small mistake as the journey through the airport was again fast as I did not have luggage and I already had the boarding pass.

Thank you for the upgrade to a poolside family room and extended checkout time. We appreciated the extra room and the extra time we were able to spend in the pool and lounging around the pool. We would have preferred to eat at the buffet restaurant but it was fully booked (we assume for a conference). We enjoyed eating in the a la carte restaurant instead.
