This is our fourth annual visit and, as usual, we felt "at home". PROS: polite and discreet staff as in previous years, quiet, room rated 8 out of 10, problems with the air conditioning about 5-6 times, but resolved quite promptly. CONS: the feeling that there is too little staff, the pool bar being mostly empty and the bar next to the reception which is open 24h has no one early in the morning (approximately 6.30-7) when we were working. Poor lunch. New is the appearance of some visitors, most likely Russians, noisy and rude in attitude. Next year we will try to find out by email information about their presence before making a reservation, both us and the friends we meet there annually.

Best snorkeling spot

2nd time in this nice resort with the best snorkeling experience in Egypt so far, thanks to it somehow sheltered bay. Good value for money, and skilled friendly personnel. Within walking distance is an archeological site 'Myos Hormos', Greek-Roman, like an open air museum.

This is an incredible hotel which has everything. Excellent food catering for all tastes, lovely rooms, a fantastic Spa, the most amazing house reef and a beautiful beach. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and I was so pleased with my room service called Hany Isa, he was so cheerful, always catered to my needs and did the most beautiful sculptures out of towels. I will definitely be back!

While some areas of the south reef were temporarily inaccessible, we are pleased to inform you that the north reef still offers a rich variety of corals and marine life, and diving and snorkeling services continued in these areas without interruption. We hope that you still had the opportunity to enjoy our vibrant marine ecosystem. 3. ALL Program and Rewards: The ALL-membership points program is part of the global ACCOR network, and the points calculation is automated, which we are unable to influence directly. However, we encourage our returning guests to take advantage of the discounts and soft benefits available through the program, which increase with repeated stays at any ACCOR hotel. 4. Plastic Removal: We understand your concern about the plastic in the water on the left side of the bay. During your stay, our priority was to clean the beach and swimming areas from the oil and residuals from the ship before it could affect our guests. We do have a regular plastic removal schedule, and participation from our guests is always appreciated. We're happy to inform you that everything is back to normal, and we continue to work hard to maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone. We truly value your loyalty as a repeat guest, and we are sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Relaxing beach stay after touring antiquated in Aswan and Luxor

We just enjoyed a fantastic 3 centre trip to Egypt ... Aswan, Luxor for history and El Qusier for snorkeling.  After a 5 hour drive across the desert from Luxor we arrived at another of our favourite hotels in Egypt, the Moevenpick, El Quiser. Our third visit here. After ten days of Egyptian history we came here to relax on the beach and for the superb and easy snorkeling.   The hotel is a low rise development built in Nubian style. As a result it is quite spread out, but we enjoyed the exercise. Our seaview suite was tasteful and stylish in muted tones, with Nubian accessories. Storage was good and the bathroom had an excellent walk in shower. We had a lovely outside area with 2 sunbeds, 2 chairs and a table and a fabulous hot jacuzzi pool. There are screens for privacy/shade should you want them.  Due to its isolation half board is compulsory. The breakfast buffet is excellent with the usual choice of fruit, cereals, pastries and freshly made ommelettes etc. Evening meals are equally good, in themed buffet style with lots of variety. We ate once in each of the a la carte restaurants, Seagulls and Al Fresco. Both had waiter service and the food was exceptionally good. Both pools are close to the sea but we prefer the long sandy beach where you can walk straight out into the sea to swim or snorkel. Even better snorkelling is off the end of the jetty where you simply walk down a ladder into the sea. Turn LEFT, swim past the jetty and you are in the wonderful undersea world of a drop off ... like an underwater cliff, which is teeming with every type and colour of coral and fish. You swim out against the current and drift back with it ... just so easy and so much to see. Amazing. There's also a highly regarded Dive Center here for those who want to scuba. Heads up about the beach ... you need to be up early !! By 7 am all the front row is gone !! This is a place to relax and unwind and enjoy the hotel facilities. In the past we have enjoyed sunset drinks at the Rock Bar but sadly it was too windy this time. The hotel runs a shuttle to the nearby small town where there is a fort but we didn't go there so can't comment.   We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful, and special thanks to Alaa and Ebeid for keeping our room so beautifully. When we were there a cargo ship had just grounded on the reef offshore. The hotel is doing its best to make up for this with the guests. Fortunately the small oil leakage has not affected the beach/coral at the Movenpick as the current is taking it South. Hopefully it will be resolved quickly to avoid further damage to the beautiful marine environment of the Red Sea.

Despite the ship sinking on 2 December, containment efforts have minimized pollution, and we’re committed to rehabilitating the impacted south reef. The wreck poses no further threat to our area, ensuring the beauty of our marine environment continues to shine. We look forward to welcoming you back for another relaxing stay!
