You have mostly great people at the front desk. A women who seemed to be in charge was not so hot. I reported a plugged sink to her, she said she’d get it fixed and nothing happened. The next day I told a gentleman the same thing. It was fixed immediately.

I always stay in this hotel whenever I visit Chiang Mai, a few times a year. The most important attribute that attracts me to this hotel is their excellent staff and customer service, under the guidance of the front desk Manager Mr Note. I also want to express my special gratitude to one front desk staff Ms Izzie. I've always wanted to commend Izzie, a truly outstanding and warm-hearted front desk staff member. She always makes me feel welcome and at home during my stays. She's always incredibly helpful with any accommodation or other issues. I'm most grateful for her help last year when she resolved my long-standing Accor account problem – I'm truly thankful! She also introduced me to other private car-hailing options in Thailand, which made my trip to Chiang Mai much easier. She even once personally escorted me to another exit of the hotel to wait for my ride. Knowing I enjoy Thai fresh orange juice, she once prepared a bottle for me upon check-in – she was incredibly thoughtful. I sincerely hope Movenpick will recognize and acknowledge her exceptional service and attitude. She is a model of excellent service.

Look no further for a hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai near all the night markets. Although its not within the city square, it has much to do and see. The hotel amenities were nice but small - pool, bar and gym. Loved the lounge on the first floor and area outside featuring live music. Room was nice, clean but feels like it needs an uplift. Biggest shock was a part of the shower was covered with a wooden board - not sure if they were currently trying to renovate but did not complete. Valet and greeters displayed great hospitality though I wish the front desk could have been more friendly and welcoming. Overall solid experience - I would return mainly for the location and first floor lounge and outdoor eatery.

Had to wait after the check in ciz the room wasnt ready yet (it was almost 4pm when we got the room), bed was a bit dirty
