The hotel needs an update. Our room initially was in the old section and was damp. When the AC was turned on there was an awful smell of flowery deodorizer that I could practically taste. Trying to mask the smell of damp was not good. We got upgraded to a better room in the main hotel (same one as spa) and was better (still a slight flowery smell but liveable) Unfortunately the pool is almost 100% in the shade. For sun seeking swimmers such as us , this was very dissappointing. The morning breakfast was good, as was the service overall.

The room was damp and smelled strongly of mold, and all of our belongings became damp as a result. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. The room was extremely outdated, with old, worn furniture and fixtures. Several of the electrical outlets only worked half the time, which is unsafe and frustrating. The bed was rock hard and incredibly uncomfortable, making it nearly impossible to sleep. On top of that, the hot water was poor and inconsistent, and the shower head was terrible, turning something as basic as a shower into an unpleasant experience. This room was nowhere near the standard that was advertised or expected. We paid for a comfortable stay and instead dealt with discomfort, poor maintenance, and unsanitary conditions. This experience was a huge disappointment
